This Pension is a few minutes walk away from the city centre, the nearest underground stations and tram stops in a quiet street. Serviced by a lift, the rooms are on the fourth floor and are comfortable, clean and value for money. Breakfast is served on the Mezanine floor below the reception and rooms and is self service continential style....

I was welcomed, as a weary traveler from CO, by a lovely older man (the owner) in the middle of the night. He was so friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast spread was great, too. The overall experience was quite memorable and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Vienna!

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly. This place is in an old building with old style elevators that remind you of scary movies. Our room had its own bathroom, which is nice. It is a little walk to the touristy spots but the area is quiet and has great local restaurants. There is a convenience store nearby...

First of all, this is not a hotel, it's a pension ... It occupies few floors in an old and crappy building. Don't be fooled by the pictures on Booking.com ... Reality is much worse! ... I'm a frequent traveler, and have seen a lot. This is by far my worst experience. I couldn't find the hotel easily, although...

The hotel is few blocks from the town hall in an ancient palace with lifter. Rooms are on some floors of the palace and they are standard, with private bathroom and very clean. Breakfast is quite good with a great variaty of thing to eat. Manager and staff are very kind and can give you suggestions on things to do...

This place is really creepy. When you walk in no one is around and the place is really dark. It took us forever to find the lobby, since it was on the second floor. The owner of the place seems nice at first, but when we wanted to change hotels he wouldn't let us. Then he got all upset, because...

First, i was almost shocked about the location. The hotel is located in a part of an old an typical building. It's on a side of the University of Wien, on a silent street. You have to pay attention at the sign placed at the entrance of the building and you have to ring at the door if you reach...

I've been to Vienna countless times. It is one of my favorite cities in the world. I wasn't planning to visit this time, but on a motorcycle trip one of the riders had a breakdown and we needed a nearby city. Peak season in Vienna, we found this place online. It's on a quiet street, but only a ten minute...

this is an unusually reliable, generous, quiet, austere yet comfortable and well appointed B&B; if you really want to be in the old Viennese University ambience, this is where to stay. Very straightforward, spectacular architecture: 1880s building with all the original fixtures, fine tile and marble throughout the building. Simple, clean and modest room fixtures and setting, with all the...

All the places to visit are at a walking distance. The hotel staff is very accommodating, they allowed early check-in and also breakfast for that day. The room had nice lighting and was very spacious.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
