Little Storping on the Swuft
Reviewed 24 September 2011

On the plus side, our room was reasonably sized, with a high ceiling. There was a nice bathroom with a shower and tub. Some of the rooms only had a shower. However, the dust and dirt my bag picked up from the floor indicated a failure to vacuum. There was no air conditioning, so the room was a little warm....

We stayed 7 nights in mid-August 2011. Found the hotel pleasant and clean, with some character and interesting details. It's very well situated on a charming street, near many lovely sights and close to subway and trams 1 and 2. My main concern had been that there is no air conditioning, but we were fine because our room faced the...

Have just returned from a four noght stay in Vienna and we wanted to praise the Hotel Post. It's ideally located, very close to the city centre and Ringstrasse with all it;s tourists attractions. We were just two minutes from the river Danube and twenty minutes from the Prater ferris wheel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are...

Our family stayed in Hotel Post for many times. To my mind, it is very good combination of price and quality. Rooms are large and location is great. Some rooms have Internet, but others - no. Two elevators are large enough. St. Stephan's Cathedral is near. The Donaukanal ("Danube Canal") and The Ring - 5 minutes on foot. You can...

Hotel Post is situated right in the heart of Vienna. It met all our needs. Breakfast was always fresh and quickly replenished. Bathroom was always very clean as were the towels that were changed daily. Staff were quite friendly too and helped immediately when asked for help. Will not hesitate to stay again at this hotel. Rooms on the top...

We stayed at the Hotel Post in Vienna for three nights at the end of June. We found it to be old and tired. The staff, apart from one lady on reception, were impersonal and disinterested. Our stay was part of a package which included 4 nights in Salzburg, 4 in Zell am See and 3 in Kitzbuhel. The Hotel...

This old and rather tired hotel is nevertheless in a good location a few minutes walk from the old town and main square. The room, though large overlooked a rubbish dump and the corridors with doors all along it resembled a hospital. The bathroom was obviously recently renovated but the dirty furry bathmats were a bit of a worry. It...

This is a no frills establishment attracting travellers on a budget. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, bathrooms are recently refurbished. Breakfast is ok but not great by austrian tablets. There are plenty of eateries and bars in the location. It is only 10 minutes from the Stephandom, metro, trams and buses are nearby.

This hotel is comfortable and highly functional with a solid feel that only comes from an older building with many years use in it's purpose, so different to a newly built thing with concrete and glass everywhere. The room was spacious and warm and the breakfast splendid including wondrous coffee from a machine that i wanted to steal and carry...
