We had a great time staying here! We were a group of 11 friends and occupied 4 of the rooms. The hotel is very small (only 7 or 8 rooms I think). The location is great - we were close to everything! The underground transportation, St. Stephan's Cathedral, lots of cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs (actually made...

Some Friends stayed there visiting me in Vienna - the location is absolutely excellent and the staff really adorable. Great all together. Would recommend without hesitation to experience Vienna from a great point of view.

When checking out we were told to put our luggage next to the reception in the hall while we went outside in the city as there are no luggage rooms. Check out was at 11 am and our transfer to the airport booked for 5pm. We told the receptionist it felt unsafe and risky to put the luggage in the...

We booked a small double room and true to their word it was small. The double bed was surrounded on three sides by the walls of the room and the wardrobe could not be used unless the waste bin and chair was moved! The main door had even been cut away so that it cleared the bathroom door handle! The...

Location is perfect, in the middle of the city, close to the subway and great restaurants. Only downside is the rather noisy hallway in the hotel, which makes a sound everytime somebody walks. The old building is also the reason there is an electro-toilet (really loud toilet) and a rather small bathroom. But would probably come again.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel which is located in the "downtown" near the Stephansplatz church area. Easy walk to other attractions and tour buses. The hotel was nice and quaint with a very friendly staff! The rooms were roomy and quiet, except for the squeaky floors, but we thought that those added to the charm of...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night (March 15th) while touring here in Vienna. We arrived early and dropped off our bags, then we went off to tour. Hotel is very convenient and a 2 minute walk to Stephansplatz or St. Stephens Cathedral. Price of the hotel was good for the area. Breakfast was included in the room...

Loved it! The location is simply the best! Hotel staff is fantastic and helpful. I didn't do breakfast there because there are too many fantastic bakeries in the area. If you are looking for a really traditional "American" type hotel, this doesn't feel that way. Which is yet another reason that I loved it! The entrance takes you into an...

This hotel/pension is in the heart of the city. It's ideal for getting around! We stayed for two nights. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with more choices than we expected (not included). The room was large (we didn't have the cheapest one). Although it was smelly (suppose it was moisty) and the floors were creaky, we didn't regret our choice of...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
