Room faced a brick wall and there was no wifi coverage at all. On enquiring I was advised that it is an old building, however the website states wifi all areas. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities. That said the room was clean and the hotel...More
The location is really good (not 5 min to the Stephansplatz and the U-Bahn Station).
The breakfast is ok, I expected more from the previous reviews. Yes, you got scrambled eggs, and you could have had sparkling wine, but the choice of cheese and ham...More
I you were finding the city center location, you can try it. You will be exactly in the very center of Vienna. However I didn't nave a quiet night.
I think the hotel should improve its noise insulation, especially in the bathrooms.

A very recommendable hotel in the heart of Vienna near Stephansplatz and underground. Nice and clean rooms as well as very polite staff. Good breakfast. It is a quiet place, shops and restaurants close by.
Visited for a girls weekend with 5 others. Hotel is centrally located in a perfect position for visiting main attractions.
Rooms are small but comfortable although our room didn't have an outside facing window or air conditioning but a ceiling fan. It was spotless.
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed ... not sure which floor this was on but you can ask this question through their website. Good luck. I hope they can accommodate your request ... you will enjoy staying at the Wandl and it's great location! Happy Travels!
