Close to a "U-Bahn" station and easy to go to town. The bedroom was basic (no toiletries apart from soap dispenser) but clean. It was too hot like in all public places in Vienna (the Vienese wonder around indoors in T-shirts in the middle of winter - have they heard of global warming I wonder?), but because our room was...

The InterCity hotel Vienna sits in a typical Vienna shopping avenue just 1min from Vienna Westbahnof station. Outside you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants, along with some homeless and unsavoury types... But the hotel is very good. Staff speak good English and were helpful. In the lobby you'll find internet (payable), a water dispenser and coffee machine (free), maps...

A superb hotel, clean, comfortable, and right next to Westbahnhof, all for a bargain price. The bathroom had everything you needed and was clean (so many hotels fail to even get the bathroom right). A special mention goes to the superb buffet breakfast, which offered everything imaginable. You can skip lunch after sampling that. The only complaint would be that...

This hotel was NOT clean. There was NO CENTRAL AIR after 10 pm. Rooms were falling apart. Beds in terrible condition. Due to heat, noise from the street & poor bed, I slept less than 2 hours the first night. The staff was fine about us changing rooms & the second room was off the main street, so the noise...

The Intercityhotel of Vienna is remarkably situated near Westbahnof. The romms are clean and comfortable, well furnished but a bit to expensive for what it is. The prices are more for a 4 stars hotels than for a 3 strars one. By the way, the breakfast is served in a room to small to receive all the hotel guests and...

Extremely overpriced for the room quality. Broken bottles littered the patio outside my room, half the electronics in the room didn't work or had been stolen, bed not comfortable, shower tiny (even by European standards. Front desk staff unhelpful, basically kids. Only a late arrival/early departure kept me from changing hotels on the spot. Save your money.

My partner and I spent two nights at the Intercity Vienna back in July and had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay there. We booked the hotel because of it's proximity to the Westbahnhof as well as the reasonable price of £67 a night (one of the better options for a good quality 3* hotel in Vienna). Our stay in...

I have stayed here for four days during my vacation in July and loved it. Excellent Location and my room were clean and comfortable. It has everything I need including a safe for my valuables. The best thing is that I have got a free transportation card during my stay to use in Vienna for all buses and underground. Definitely...

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
