Where to start.... The hotel is located in the red light district and shares a crossroads with a brothel. This is not a nice area of the city and not somewhere I would have a quiet wander late at night. The staff were friendly enough but our booking included a wine tasting. This was never mentioned by staff and since...

The hotel, room, breakfast and staff were all pleasant but I am sorry for the hotel that its surrounds are not so great. The only plus is the proximity to the metro to get away. The reasons i rate the area poorly: the brothel on adjacent corner comes with what you might expect: breaking bottles and shouting in the night;...

We came at night so we didn't get a feel for the area the staff were great and welcomed us in. We wandered out to find a nearby restaurant and found Mozart's. In the morning we found that at the bottom of the road was a main metro hub, superb for day out in Vienna. Great rooms, great breakfast and...

This is one of the best hotel ever. I have stayed here for two months in 2015. Now I am back. An old fashion hotel, very elegant and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the stuff is friendly. Very close to the center

We have bookes a double room with an extra bed for a week stay in Vienna. It was a real bargain, as the hotel is really good. We enjoyed the friendliness of the personnel, each member of which was ready to help and to give some tips for the tourists. The hotel is clean and neat, the rooms are big...

Very conveniently located about a kilometre from the bus station [westbahnhof] Very polite and friendly staff. Got an upgrade on our room and complimentary wine on our anniversary! Breakfast plenty but a little monotonous. Overall very pleasant stay

We have returned for the fourth time in this location. Conveniently located near a subway station (only 1 station from Mariahilferstrasse), they have reasonable prices for the rooms. The hotel is rather old, but the deluxe room and bathroom are big and clean, (quite annoying to have separate toilette, but this is traditional). The WiFi is OK, they also introduced...

The room we had was shabby , separate wc and bathroom with a floral decor reminiscent of the 70's . Breakfast room was interesting and reasonable breakfast . It is quite a way out of the city so we walked miles- good for fitness ! The young lady at reception seemed to be mildly disinterested in helping although did order...

We arrived on a very hot day in Vienna. The hotel is about 4km from the centre and we've racked up some great step numbers walking to and from the old town! I mention the heat because, despite the spacious rooms, pretty courtyard and ornate furnishings, we realised straight away that there was no air con, which made the room...

Like most European mid-range hotels, it does the job it's meant to do well. There is a small reception area and ample breakfast room and the rest are bedrooms, which are clean, comfortable and well-serviced. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent: pots of coffee, fruit juices, pastries, breads, eggs, cheeses, hams etc. There was even...
