In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Booked this hotel and paid in full via BA Holidays four months in advance. We arrived at 5pm (not a late check in) to be told that they didn’t have our booking but had booked us into a sister hotel in the outskirts of the old town. Staff were polite and offered us a taxi and a

Dear guest! We are very sorry about the inconveniences you had to face when arriving at our Hotel Royal. In fact we made a mistake in our booking system and booked you into our main hotel - Hotel Regina instead of Hotel Royal. It is true that the taxi drive takes 15 minutes as you have to go around the first district, but our Hotel Regina is not located in the outskirts as you state but right on Ringstrasse and close to Rathaus and university. We are very sorry that we had to move you to Hotel Regina and send our best greetings from Vienna! Your family Kremslehner

Stayed for one night, a Saturday in early March. Wonderful location, very central. Despite it's proximity to the buzzing people hubb of Stephansplatz, the hotel room was surprisingly quiet. Nice rooms. Average breakfast. Great location and friendly staff.

At the beginning I was happy that I could find a reasonably priced hotel in downtown Vienna. After spending a few hours in the Royal hotel my happiness faded away. The room was not clean, notmentioning the bathroom. I decided to drink a glass of vodka from the minibar. I did

Dear Client, we are extremely sorry to hear that we did not exceed your expectations during your stay with us. As we explained at the front desk, when you came complaining, of course you have to pay the whole bottle from the minibar when you open it! Thank you for completing the review on our property. Best regards The Kremslehner family on behalf of the Hotel Royal Team

Just back from this hotel yesterday and found the rooms to be clean, staff friendly and the breakfast, which was included, sufficient to start the day. The location however is the central selling point of this hotel. Literally round the corner from St Stephan's Cathedral. I

Either you try one of our in house restaurants - Firenze or Settimo Cielo - we would go for the Firenze , because it offers traditional Italian food or we could recommend Trattoria Santo Stefano in Dorotheergasse 3 - just 2 minutes walk which offers Pizza as well. Best greetings your Family Kremslehner
