I am very happy with my stay to this hotel. The location its great. The hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance from underground station and Vienna main train station. Its only 20 minutes by train from airport and only 3 minutes by underground to city center. The bedroom was big and very clean. The only issue was that the...

It is everyone describes a bit tired in rooms communial areas fine very clean,, staff very good and a typical European breakfast. And oone of the best hotel beds I have slept in. If they refreshed the rooms would easily get 5 stars

Having had many days of the so-called European breakfast at the other hotels in Italy, where everything is cold and the bread tastes like rock, the hot American style breakfast this place offers, full of scrambled eggs, sausages, and waffles, was a welcoming change. The good pretty much stops there. The hotel and its rooms are quite outdated with dirty...

We had three nights here very comfortably. The room is well equipped. There is shower/hair gel in the bathroom, a plug for shaver/electric toothbrush even a trouser press. The little bar sells snacks. As we arrived late we were glad of a toasted sandwich. If you arrive by train, head for the Sudtirol pltz exit at Hauptbahnhof. Cross the dual...

We just spent a week at this hotel and can not fault it. Friendly, efficient staff at reception, quick check-in. We requested a quiet room and were given a large, comfortable room on the 8th floor which, although it faced the main street, was totally quiet due to excellent soundproofing. Breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of hot and cold choices,...

My wife and I stayed at The Prinz Eugen for 3 nights. Nice welcome at Reception when we arrived and rest of staff very helpful and friendly. It's a short 5 minute walk to the Underground from where the centre of the old town is reached in about 10 minutes. Breakfast at the hotel is very good. The rooms are...

Easy check in and helpful staff: Decent breakfast and the room was very clean and but as I was at the back i did not hear a thing: Adjacent to the Belvedere Palace and only about a 10 minute walk to City center,...

This is a lovely hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the train station. The city centre is easy to reach from the hotel by tram, and only takes a few minutes to get to. The decor is slightly dated, but the hotel is clean and comfortable, and I had a lovely big room at the rear of the...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. “If you have a problem sleeping with road noise, you might not want to choose a standard room, since they face the road. However, there are heavily insulated windows to block the noise. I have no idea if it was noisy, since I can sleep through an air raid.”
