Walking distance from the main train station, close to tram line for exploring down town and a short walk to the Belvedere Art Museum. Our room was at the back of the hotel, quiet and nice view of courtyards. Breakfast was OK, except that coffee is on your table and the pots are not insulated so if you come down...

location was nice. short walk to the train station and belvedere palace. Tram station also near the hotel. Reception was nice too. Breakfast was pretty good. However, hotel room is little outdated (especially carpet). Construction going on next building so was loud in the morning.

Stayed here for 6 days at the end of January 2017. Chosen primarily for it's proximity to the main rail station (which is just across the busy dual carriageway outside and about 5 mins on foot) and the local trams and U bahn station which are also close by. The hotel itself is reasonably priced. The rooms at the rear...

This is an older hotel, with somewhat dated rooms and furnishings. That said the price reflects this, and staff keep the rooms and communal areas clean and tidy. There's a small bar on site, and a buffet breakfast was included in the rate. The hotel is an excellent choice if arriving/departing by train as we were. The station is a...

Hotel Prinz Eugen is almost directly across the road from Wien Hauptbahnhof so, if you're arriving by train, it's very handy indeed. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, helpful staff, and a great buffet breakfast. Walking distance to the centre of the city (just) and very handy for the Belvedere Palace and the Army Museum. Decent restaurants and small supermarkets close...

I visited this hotel with my mum last week and I was actually really impressed. It's only 5 mins from the main station (get the rail jet train from the airport departing every 30 mins for only 5.90€ I think to Wien Hbf.) hotel decor is a bit dated however it sort of adds to the Austrian ambience of the...

Hotel is convenient for the train from the airport and only €2. Close to the Belverdere and the war museum. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Cereal, fruit, yogurt as well as the usual meats, cheese, eggs, bacon and various breads. One gripe was not much choice of alcoholic drinks at the bar. Bar was not always staffed, had to...

Chose the hotel for its location and affordability. Free breakfast is served until 10am and the D tram line stops at the corner and takes you into the city (€2.30/trip or free with the city pass you can buy at the hotel front desk). Free wifi works well. Hotel has a no-frills look, room was clean and had all the...

Location is very convenient just near Main rail station and bus terminal. We arrived by train and departed by bus to Bratislava and don't need to bother for transportation to it: just walk. Also short walk (5-10 minutes) to main architectural attractions and many museums. Nicely decorated with Prince Eugen memorabilia. Room is small but cozy and well-maintained. No view...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
