Kunsthof hotel is a very clean hotel located in the outside ring of old Vienna but very close to it. It is at the front of Prater park, where you can find delicious foods and atraction together just in 7 minutes on foot. Also it is close to the metro station (5 min) that connects you to the Vienna center...

This used to be known as Hotel Reichshof - the change must have been relatively recent, the taxi driver didn't know the current hotel name. Located close to Praterstern station (and the Prater), however all the action, shopping, bars, etc. aren't in this section of town. A good place to start for that is Stephansplatz, which is three stations from...

Dear Hans-Dominik, thank you very much for your review. Our hotel is family owned since more than 120 years and changed the name from Hotel Venedig to Reichshof and in 2002 to Hotel KUNSThof. We are sorry to hear your taxi driver didn’t know our house. Around the corner you will find the nearly best croatian fish restaurant in town,...

A friendly clean hotel in an excellent position and reasonable prices.Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of nuts fruits oats, muesli and bran. There were juices and fresh fruit as well as good variety of cheeses and meats. The varieties of bread and rolls were very good and hard to resist. The only downside for me were the steps...

I have nothing exceptional to say about this hotel. I was a bit disappointed by the room (small and not really cozy); in the bathroom I would suggest to add a small table (or something else) so guests can actually put their stuff there. But the hotel is clean, friendly reception staff and the breakfast is ok.

The hotel is really nice, it is good located. The staff is really friendly, and will help you with everything. Also, explained us how to park our car for free. Could not sleep very well, the mattress was to soft.

Good location, 3-4 mins walk to Praterstern Metro Station and only few stops from the central area of Vienna. Direct connection to Vienna Airport by S7 train. Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable. Good and friendly staff. Worth for the money.

Very comfortable hotel near station. Hardly 2-3 mins walk. Room are little small but clean. Hospitality of the reception staff is very good. The receptionist helped me with directions & city maps. A small bar is there around the reception with snacks & drinks. However, no restaurants.

We booked through Expedia and had the breakfast included. They may have changed the breakfast guidelines, because now it is 10 euro and includes coffee. I noticed other reviews stating it was 6 euro and you had to pay extra for coffee. Breakfast was bread, yogurt, cheese, meats, and some assorted veggies and fruits. We were on the top floor...

The beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is a definite plus and worth the 6 euros. (pity you have to pay for a coffee!) Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
