Our family of four from Ct. just stayed here. We had a double suite directly overlooking the spectacular cathedral. Rooms were great (a bit Ikea like), view and location unsurpassable, the breakfast everyday terrific, and service generally excellent and helpful. Reception's restaurant suggestions held up against Yelp, and reality. Ate nearby at Huth and others..

Friend of mine is a frequent traveler to Vienna and always stays here. I booked the hotel by the advice. We had booked 2 rooms. Both had a view to stephenplatz (it is noisy). Our room for 3 person was huge - 2 bathrooms, queen size bed, sofabed (2 rooms). The inner bedroom was quiet. The breakfast was dleicious and with...

I'm only able to walk using sticks, so we chose this hotel in the very heart of Vienna with the subway right outside. It was a good choice. The limoservice brought us right to the door, although the hotel is in the pedestrian zone. Reception and baggage handling were very good. We had a great Room (704) and would recommend...

We booked ahead and therefore had 30% discount and requested a room on the top 7th floor with a balcony overlooking the cathedral. Unbelievable view...you can almost touch it from the balcony. A superb breakfast even with sparkling wine on tap. I don't know how they do it for the price...my wife guessed it was 3x the actual price.

Reception desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Spotless room was extremely comfortable and bathroom was large, modern and upscale. Buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection of delicious items served in a lovely dining room overlooking the cathedral. Would definitely stay here again on any future visits to Vienna.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
