We stayed at the Hotel Am Stephansplatz for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an ideal location for touring the city center. Our room was lovely and had an excellent view of St. Stephen's Cathedral. Although there were many people on the street below, the room was very quiet. It was attractive, clean and comfortable....

We stayed for four nights and loved it. The room was spacious and very clean. We didn't use the sauna but it was available. Our room was overlooking the cathedral so it could be a teeny noisy due to pedestrian traffic at times but not a huge issue. Very close to the metro. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again.

Our room was lovely and spacious with an excellent view of the cathedral. It was quiet despite the crowds on the street below, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the front desk were very efficient and let us check in a few hours early, and housekeeping and restaurant staff were very welcoming and professional. Our one complaint is...

Definitely one of the best place I've stayed in. Wonderful service by the staff beginning with their very helpful and accommodating reception staff (both day & nightshift); their kitchen/breakfast service and crew opened their breakfast 30 minutes earlier that usual just to accommodate by early trip and tours. Location is one of the best as it is next to St....

Great hotel, very clean with pleasant staff. It's right next to the beautiful St Stephens Church so if you have a window open you will hear the bells ringing every half hour, but no noise when they're closed. A very nice stay altogether.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
