The hotel is in an ideal location close to the Secession Building and across the street from both the Theater an der Wien and the Naschmarkt. It is comfortable, spotless and a hot/cold breakfast buffet offers an excellent start to the day. During our stay we really enjoyed a free classical concert early on Sunday evening with a first-rate pianist...

This is simply a superb hotel. It is very comfortable, clean and bright. The staff are amazing and so very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday celebration and the hotel marked it in a very special way (thank you all so much!). Its location in Vienna is excellent and so easy to walk to all the main places of...

Good location (near to the underground station of Karlsplatz, near tram stop of Opera: quick connections for business needs); suggestive environment if you like music or architecture or museums; a friendly and efficient service.

Stayed at this hotel 15/08/2016 - 19/08/2016 to celebrate my partners 30th Birthday and our anniversary. Upon arrival at check-in we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who informed us we have been upgraded to a superior room and also provide a complimentary bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates (very nice touch) to help us celebrate our...

We were lucky enough to book the Hotel Beethoven after our original hotel cancelled our reservation. We got lucky! This is a really nice old hotel with character in the heart of the theatre district. The theme is Beethoven and reminders of him are all over. The check in process was seamless as Maximillian got us checked in stored our...

We went mid October thinking it might be still quite warm, however it wasn't, that meant that having a welcoming and warm hotel after a day of sightseeing all the more important! We arrived on a Sunday about 5.30 in the evening, at 6.00 was a concert in the lounge. Well, what a treat .....it was amazing. The room was...

These days it is rare to feel truly welcome as a Hotel guest but the Hotel Beethoven staff has this down expertly. It is a characteristic I appreciate much more than a sumptuous lobby or an exotic tasting welcome drink. Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.

Hotel Beethoven – Lovers of Vienna welcome The 4-star Hotel Beethoven lies ensconced in culture and cuisine on the “bohemian“ Naschmarkt, opposite the Papagenotor at Theater an der Wien, just a few minutes’ walk from the Opera, the Musikverein, the Museumsquartier, the most traditional Viennese coffeehouses and shopping streets. 4-star hotel situated on Vienna’s NaschmarktThe location of the 4-star Hotel Garni on the Naschmarkt lets lovers of Vienna dive right into the typical Viennese lifestyle. The market, with its dozens of little stalls and selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and specialities, is a colourful and lively snapshot of Vienna, which is even more varied on Saturdays, with the farmer’s and flea market. In addition to the restaurants and cafés around the Naschmarkt, a trendy restaurant and bar scene has developed in the market area. Coupled to cultureThe culturally committed Ludwig family, which owns the hotel, sponsors numerous Viennese cultural institutions, such as the Albertina, the Mumok and the Musikverein and inspires lovers of Vienna to special cultural delights: invitations to previews, exhibition openings, museum visits and preferential ticket orders at the Musikverein. ... more   less
