I stayed at this hotel in September for a 4 day family city break.
Rooms were lovely - we faced the road but didn't hear any noise. Cleaned to a high standard and the beds were very comfy.
Half price cocktails at the bar were...More
A perfectly adequate hotel. Not a bad location, polite staff, spacious rooms. A handy budget supermarket is just across the street and sells coffee and pastries if you want to skip the hotel breakfast.
It loses a point for a creeping shabbiness - in particular,...More
We travelled for a family excursion to Prater. We got an offer, what I confirmed. The hotel confirmation contained another price what they offered. I sent this problem to the hotel, and they answered that this is a mistype.
When we arrived I asked the...More

I recently stayed at this hotel on a family city break. The room was great, comfortable beds and nice decor. Hot but a fan was provided.

For a 4 star hotel I had expected more. The location is okay, close to a metro station, but the neighbourhood is a little bit sketchy. The room was simple and clean, but I missed having tea/coffee in the room (you can buy it at...More

Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and
ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.

As far as I can remember, the hotel can arrange private transportation for you if you call them in advance (for a price of course). If you want to use public transportation you'll have to take the train from the airport to the central station (€16 if you take the direct green train, €4 for the slower one), and then the metro underground train. Have a nice trip.
