Wonderful hotel, right by St Stephens and the pedistrianised area. Very good quality rooms, comfortable beds, clean, lovely big bathroom with double sinks and bath. The room always smelt lovely. Staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They recommended some very good restaurants and cafes. The best gluten free bread I've had.

It's a boutique hotel, but the staff are worth the most renowned venues: very nice and highly professional. Sayyed, at the reception, is probably the most efficient concierge in town, with advice and access to the best restaurants and music events. Room 52 (in the annex building) was very spacious, elegantly decorated and very clean. Amazingly, the huge bathroom has...

I the center of Vienna, on a quiet street, yet just steps from St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hotel Konig Von Ungarn is extremely comfortable and welcoming. It's intimate, and at the same time, the historic touches have been updated. We enjoyed the friendly personal service, and the breakfast was outstanding.

We had stayed here many years ago and liked it so much we tried it again. If anything it has improved. Then the rooms were not air-conditioned. Now they are. It also has a very modern extension which we avoided. we used the restaurant and found it very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was well provided for and choice was...

This boutique hotel is located on a very quiet street, but just around the corner from St Stephens cathedral and all the action of central Vienna. It is about a 10 mins walk from the Wien Mitte station which is the the city stop for the airport express (CAT). The hotel is full of rich history dating from the 1700s....

The Konig von Ungarn is located on a side street just a minute's walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral, so it cannot be more centrally located. It's a charming and quaint hotel, with a very reasonable price tag given its comfort and location. The staff is very efficient and capable, as one should expect in Austria. We stayed in a "maisonette"...

This was my third visit to the Konig von Ungarn and it is to be highly recommended. For such a central location it is not expensive; the staff are charming and helpful and the restaurant excellent. An added bonus for me is that breakfast is served in part of the building where Mozart wrote the Marriage of Figaro. Rooms are...

It's aging gracefully, but this charming, 33 room hotel is still the best located, most comfortable place we know in Vienna. We enjoyed a large airy corner room, on this, our eighth stay and enjoyed it as ever. Walk to everything!

We were very much impressed after our previous accomodation here ten months earlier. For this reason we booked Konig Von Ungarn hotel again and on early July arrived in Vienna. Unfortunately, at the exit from the airport, my wife fell on the way to the taxi booked for us by the property. Upon arrival to the hotel manager on duty...

The hotel is a few yards from Stephansdom, yet within walking distance from Vienna Mitte (the train station where you arrive from the airport). And the street is quiet. Mine must have been one of their cheapest rooms (one person), still it was surprisingly big, double bed, two tables, a set of armchairs, big wardrobe, and two racks for my...

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
