Location is great: Museumquarter is a fantastic area. Rooms are good. No airco, while Vienna can be hot. Open window gives quite some - good humoured tipsy - noise at Saturday night. Beds are good! Breakfast is not so good, for one morning OK, but...More
Let me start by saying that I've been working in the service industry for almost 15 years. I always try to be as nice as possible to every member of the staff wherever I go, because I know how it is to be on the...More
Rooms in Vienna don't come cheap. The Admiral suited our budget. It is a very nice hotel, is walking distance to the city centre, near friendly taverns, a shopping street, and even a gelato cafe, and if you cycle, there's a CityBike station 10 minutes...More
Spent 3 nights here and was OK. Located in the center, very close to tram and metro stations. Room was large, clean and warm. Bathroom has tube and shower cabin. Breakfast is good (except the coffee), but not very diversified. Nice and polite staff.
Staff are so friendly, and the location of this Hotel is amazing as you can walk to the center of the city within a couple of minutes. The Breakfast was nice, but limited! The room was nice and clean, but hot!!
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
