I don't know how but we booked this hotel for only 55 euros per night for 2 people! This is absolutely nothing for such an amazing place. It is right at the underground exit, in a nice area, not far from the centre. The hotel itself is in a modern building. The room was impeccable, with huge and comfortable bad....

I booked a deluxe room for a 3 night stay at the end of April. I emailed in advance to inform the hotel that it was my fiancé's birthday and they surprised us with a dessert selection that was waiting in our room on arrival! Lovely touch! The staff were fab, spoke extremely good English. We drank in the bar...

Stayed here one night during my brief visit to Vienna. Very clean rooms, practical business hotel. walking distance to convention center. Staff spoke good English so didn't feel the pressure of not knowing German! Free WiFi, but no Executive Lounge. The hotel did not have adequate power adapters as I couldn't get one for my US power cords. Also, when...

Just stayed here for 6 nights while attending a exhibition next door at the congress center. Very easy to get here from the airport from the metro. It stops next to the hotel. We also used the metro in the evenings to go into the city center. Breakfast was included with our group rate and it was very good. A...

Characteristically for the hotel line: good location, simple and functional concept of the rooms and hotel amenities. Cleanliness second to none, very nice staff. Metro station 100 meters away. Delicious Viennese-style breakfast buffet. Very recommendable. I will certainly come back!

We stayed 3 nights in Deluxe double room with a lake view. The room was big, with big king size bed, very nice and clean and very good equipped. As members of the Marriott reward program we booked a room with a 20% discount and we had a free wifi in the room. The staff was great, very helpful and...

This visit was nearly flawless. The check-in service was exceptional. The room was huge. The bed was Marriott, even here in Austria, and everyone spoke flawless English so I didn't get to practice my rudimentary German very much. Very high end Courtyard for sure.

New hotel in Vienna. Located next door to the Messe, OMV and the Prater. It could not be better connected on public transport as the U2 underground ist close by. Modern hotel with modern ambient. Lots of travel groups in the seasons. Great breakfast with all you can think of. I like it for more then just a business stay....

We stayed two nights in April on a Saturday and Sunday night for 67 euros a night. For that price, this hotel is fantastic. We were able to check in at 9 a.m. after a long flight from the U.S. Hannah at the front desk helped us with directions and recommendations several times. The U2 Krieau stop is across the...

As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are excellent, customer service better than most and the food really good. We stayed 4 nights on points and this is the best point value hotel we have ever been to. (should be one or two categories higher than rated). What amazed us was how easy it was to get to the tram...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
