The location of this hotel is unbelievable - the "Golden Roof" is only a one or two minute walk away (and we could see it from the window of our room). We were there for the Christmas markets, too, and they were all only a short walk away from the hotel (and amazing). We had a large family room that... More

This historic hotel is situated right in the pedestrian center of Innsbruck. I could actually see the famous "Golden Dachl" from the window of my room! Most of the sights, lots of cafes and restaurants and plenty of shops are within easy walking distance. The welcome was very warm, the staff is super friendly and helpfull and there is even... More

The hotel is situated in the hearth of Innsbruck. The style is typical of that zone with wonderful wood finiture in the hotel. The breakfast is just, i was expecting something more typical but finally was ok. There is a garage 3 minutes far from the hotel.

Great location , nice design, cosy room; however, breakfast choice was very limited ; there wasn't any scrambled eggs n the bread wasn't replenished ; I would stay again but hope to see a better breakfast spread

I am currently staying here with a bus party. This hotel is clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. This is a no frills hotel ie no tea, coffee, iron in your room, but who cares so long as you know beforehand. This hotel has a wonderful cosy ambience and what stands out for me is their food. Everything... More

The Hotel lived up to expectation. It was in an ideal location - Old town - and as to be expected there was a noise from the main street but it is the City centre. Breakfast was very good - Reception was on the second floor. The room was very clean - superior room hence spacious and the staff were... More

Yes this is right in the area of the Golden Roof but it is funky. Pretty noisy if you face the street and the room was small and aged. One elevator, leaning stairs and the breakfast was not up to par with the previous stops we have made. Sorry.

The hotel is located in the midst of the old town of Innsbruck & in view of the 'Golden Dachrl' (= car-free zone) ... it's clean & there's nothing to complain about -> it has that 'historic atmosphere' (e.g. in the dinning/breakfast rooms) ... if travelling by car: the hotel's private parking space in an underground parking garage is close... Something you can't miss is the fact that Mozart stayed in this hotel. Is his ghost still haunting here? Or is his name now used to seduce romantic Americans to book a room in this place? If you like listening to his music during breakfast, than this hotel is the right place to be. The hotel is right in de... More
