Only stayed in Salzburg for two nights and needed somewhere within walking distance of the train station. From the outside the hotel didn't look so fantastic and very plain but turned out to be really quaint with very clean rooms and new and very clean bathroom. Breakfast was a self service buffet in a really cute room with a super...

We stayed in one of the top floor rooms, which was very big (the biggest hotel room we had so far), clean, big tv, big bed and big bathroom. It was nicely decorated according to austrian tradition with some modern touches. Staff were helpful, although not pleasant at all times. We had a fridge problem, and a member of staff...

Upon check in our initial impression was ok but nothing spectacular the customer service at check in left a bit to be desired. Anyway, we opened the door to our room which was very small and the bed had been set up for 1 person (only 1 pillow and a single duvet) even though we booked for 2 adults. After...

Tucked away in a quiet lane , and just 10 minutes walk from the main rail station, the Atel is also 10 minutes away from the Mirabell Gardens, Dom and the old city. Even if you come by air, just take any of the 3 buses available at the Airport to the Hauptbahnof (railstation) for Euro1.90 and then walk to the...

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Free Wifi, Great break fast! Just that you got to bring your own kettle if you intend to drink a lots of hot water, else you might need to keep going to reception to ask for hot water. Besides, it's a bit far from old town but near to railway...

The rooms are quite well done with graceful furniture. They are quite spacious as well. The hotel offered breakfast, which was quite decent in variety and taste. The staff was quite helpful too. The hotel is quite close to the station - about 10 mins walk. However, keep in mind that while the hotel appears to be quite close to...

The hotel is a 10 min walk from main city attractions and a 5 min walk from Mirablla Gardens, but only a 2 min walk from train station which was a main consideration when choosing the hotel. The hotel has recently undergone renovations and is good condition. Our Room was large and modern with a small but adequate bathroom. Looking...

My wife and I visited Salzburg for a long weekend last October. Booked this hotel after recieving quotes from 4 or 5 central salzburg b&b's. This hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre but a taxi was only 5 euros each way. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. A good buffet breakfast was provided and...

this place was close to train station, which was handy, but to get into salzburg in the hub is about a 20 min walk, which in winter was very long and cold, especially at night time. My advise, don't stay here, stay closer in city and catch cab or bus from train station. the room was seriously small. I had...

We arrived by train, and were pleased that the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the station. On arrival we were met by an average hotel, looked after by average staff, which had average rooms and average breakfast. We dont really care because on a long holiday, the cheapest places are usually like this. For what we paid,...
