We stayed here for two nights (left today) In a triple room. (Age 31, 51 & 81) The breakfast was continental and was beautiful and fresh - definitely worth the money! The rooms were basic (as to be expected with a b&b over a hotel) but was very clean, with crisp sheets. The hosts were lovely and looked after us.... More

My brother and I stayed at this hotel in June for just over a week. Herbert was very welcoming and gave us maps of the city, telling us all the best spots to visit and how to get there. The bedroom was comfortable, with a TV in the corner and free wifi if you ask for the password. The bathroom... More

Easy to find. I very much liked the view from my room of the three gravestone shops across the road :-) Water quality superb. The hostmeister is knowledgeable and passionate about his city with good ideas for trips. Very good location base for driving out to places. It's well outside the city and not worth walking when the tram stops... More

To say that Herbert, the owner and proprietor of this place, is a hospitable gentleman with a genuinely friendly and welcome attitude toward his customers is an understatement. He is a well-traveled multi-language (fluent in german, italian, french and english) host that is eager to give first-time visitors good tips for what to do and where to go. The room... More

Stately house a short way from the center, this hotel is right on the bus line to the city. The hosts were very helpful with restaurant information and the city sites. Hotels in the city can be expensive and this is a good value for budget minded travelers. We did not use the restaurant but it looked very nice. Free... More

The owner Herbert is extremely helpful. He can give you lots of information on the city sights and the surrounding area. He is friendly without being overbearing and also provides a nice breakfast with tasty ham, cheese and pastries. It is also very clean and nicely furnished. Location-wise the property is quite far from the city centre but the bus... More

The host Herbert makes the stay special with his enthusiasm and knowledge of what to do and see in Salzburg - Plus he is very welcoming and friendly.
