We stayed in the back room overlooking the fields with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room wasn't fancy but it was comfortable and very clean. Haus Steiner is a couple of blocks from the bus stop and it was easy to get to and from Salzburg via the local bus service. Rosemarie's breakfast service was simple and pleasant...

We had just returned from our Europe holiday yesterday ! After visiting 4 countries within 14 days and staying at 5 different accommodation, the best was at Haus Steiner with Rosemarie! It was an exhilarating experience in the countryside far away from the bustling city! Our family of 7 consisting of both my hubby, myself, my 4 children and domestic...

The four of us stayed at Haus Steiner for 3 nights in October. Rosemarie the owner, who speaks English, has a pleasant disposition and the room charges for her well-kept b&b are very reasonable. There were a few mosquitoes as the b&b is located in the farm area on the outskirts of Salzburg, but they didn't bother us. Coming from...

Haus Steiner is indeed a hidden gem. Rosemarie was very friendly and helpful. It's true that this place is not located in the town area. Yet, the bus stop is around the corner and the bus can take you directly to town. To me it wasn't difficult at all. Besides, the direction on how to get there from the train...

We loved Haus Steiner. Frau Steiner is a gracious host and helpful with any questions visitors may have. Breakfast was sufficient. This was a great value for our base to Salzburg and easy to get to city center via bus. Bathroom was tight with a pocket door which needed to be open if you wanted to move about in the...

We stayed at Haus Steiner and Rosemarie Steiner was our gracious host. We've been to B&Bs in the UK, France, Canada but this was our best stay so far. Rosemarie was very kind and attentive to our requests and the B&B is exactly like a house. Our room looked over some charming farmland with a huge mountain filling up the...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was average in size. The wash-hand basin was inside the room and the shower and the toilet housed separately on opposite sides of the room. It was a bit quirky overall, but the B&B on the whole was great value. Breakfast was a simple affair with the usual expected of a B&B...

Stayed at the Haus Steiner for 3 nights. Overall had a good stay there. Frau. Steiner is very helpful and attentive to needs. Rooms were average sized for European standards. Bathroom felt cramped and there was a hand soap dispenser that we were expected to use in shower too. Beds could be more comfortable, but we found same kind of...

We stayed here 3 nights in September. Rosemarie is a wonderful host, making us welcome and answering all our questions. She also can supply Salzburg cards for area attractions. The location is a bit outside of town, but once you get the bus schedule down it's not an issue. The room was spotless, though the bathroom (in a double room)...

After reading all the raving reviews about Haus Steiner I was really looking forward to our visit. But I have to say we were disappointed. I almost feel like other review are from a different place, maybe we came on a bad weekend. I was leaning to a poor rating but the value tipped the scale to average. First the...
