I've been here many times for business and also this time in private. Great service any issues were immediately taken care about. Staff is super friendly and rooms are good maintained and newly setup. Even the standard rooms are small, but provide all u need. Free wifi, small quite fridge, comfy bed ... Just the train station about 200m away...

I stayed here after hosteling with a mate for 2 weeks, so it may have seemed more salubrious than it was. In any case, I'm not a fussy traveler. Everything was more than adequate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially on arrival. I don't speak German, but their English was first rate. I misread the town map when...

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly enough. It's located close to the town center. Our room (#33) was right over the bar, so we couldn't open our windows without getting smoke in our room. It was quite stuffy as there was no AC. The bathroom was clean and functional. Wifi was available, but didn't reach the room....

Poor Villach, damaged by earthquake, mountain, plague, fire and war, tries hard to emphasise its' history but is now a largely unremarkable town as is this hotel. There is no entrance to it from the street that it overlooks as the hotel entrance is on the side and the parking, which is free, is at the back. There is a...

The hotel is situated just a few steps from the old part of the Town. There is a free parking just outside the hotel. Staff at reception was nice. Rooms were a little bit oldfashioned but cosy. Plus for a fridge in the room. Bathroom was renovated and of good size. Breakfast was ok. Overall we felt that this was...

This hotel is close to city centre. Could use some updating. Restaurant on site ... served a good breakfast! Not outstanding but no complaints. Quaint with character. More Austria reviews on my blog at bloganogan.com

Slightly old fashion decor and like most city centre hotels if one leaves the window open at night there will be some occasional noise from the nearby road and rail systems but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast good. The location is walking distance to main streets and...

Stayed for 5 nights with friends. What a lovely hotel - small and "homely". The staff were friendly and helpful. I had dietry constraints and couldn't believe the trouble they took to provide me with a huge bag of gluten and dairy free products. The hotel is tucked away and so there was no traffic noise or any other distractions....

The thing that attracted us in this hotel was it's location and availability of free parking. And from this point of view it turned out to be even better than expected as the hotel is not facing the street, at least most of it is inside and during the night the silence was almost absolute. The staff was fiendly and...
