This is a UNIQUE hotel, perfectly preserving 19th century atmosphere and looks. Location just perfect. Our room was amazing in size and comfort. Bedding was great. Free breakfast was excellent in all terms.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. I do not think the website of this hotel gives a fair impression. It shows spacious palatial rooms - maybe the suites and special rooms are like that - but the room we booked was small and quite dark. The hotel was renovated in the 70s, and that was how...

I was travelling by motorcycle and chose the first hotel I came across, Hotel Palais Porcia. All staff were friendly, rooms were clean, although small (room 41) and bed was very comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water although I like to stand under the shower not have a flexible shower hose and nozzle in my shoulder area. Air conditioner...

The ladies running the Hotel Palais Porcia made our 3 week stay a home away from home. I taught at The University of Klagenfurt for a couple weeks so we decided to stay in the city center. I. Oil don't be happier with our choice. Our room was clean, uniquely decorated like a palace even with original oils, and had...

We had very nice and relaxing advent weekend in beautiful Klagenfurt. The best thing about this hotel is excellent location on the main city square, a few steps from underground garage. We stayed in very elegant and coisy junior suite (number 35) with sound proof windows. The breakfast was very good and the staff were kind and helpful. It it a...

First the positive points: the hotel is located on the main city square, the staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is well appointed. The hotel is perfect if you like mirrors and "Louis Nouveau" furniture. The rooms are OK for a 3 star hotel, which is also the rate one should pay if not staying in a large suite.

In fact, if she were alive, she would probably want to live here. Drenched in Victorian style furniture, mirrors, chandeliers, and mostly fake oriental rugs, the interior might speak to some people, but not all. The rates are flexible (started at 200 euro a night), but the longer you chit chat at the reception desk, the lower your rate (ended...

This hotel is in an excellent location and I did enjoy my stay - however - I was surprised it is classed as 4 star. The room and bathroom were clean and maintained during the trip but I couldn't help but feel watched. In a small room there were 7 mirrors and every wall has pretty scary paintings on them....

I stayed in beautiful Klagenfurt on business for 2 days in June in the middle of a record heat wave, I wish I had not stayed at this hotel. The best business hotels in town seem to be the Arcotel Moser Verdino (I've stayed there before, it's fine) and the Hotel Sandwirth (I've stayed there too, it's fine), or alternatively...

This is an interesting hotel. I stayed here for the Ironman race. The location is great for being in the city to explore. I like the staff they really tried to help out as much as possible. The breakfast was nice. The bad was that the wifi was spotty. The rooms also had a limit on how low the air...
