This place is a perfect combination of best Austrian kitchen combined with best in class service. The owner Mr. Legenstein himself runs the place and is always present in the hotel as well as in the restaurant. He and all his staff members make your stay a very enjoyable and memorable one. We will definitely come back.

It helps a lot that this is a Family Company and the staff seems to like to work here, that once you were there the next time you come again it's like being welcome back in the arms of your Family. The staff here is always working on your satisfaction, being it that rooms are kept clean or the way... More

The guesthouse is set in a fabulously beautiful setting in the hills above Graz. What lets it down is attention to detail. 1) the wifi is difficult to log onto needing a separate name and password for each device. It is slow and the signal strength and bandwidth is compromised. If often can't be logged on or drops out. Wifi... More

... your room number is "Rosebush", you open your room door in the morning and all you see is lush green and hear birds singing. I really had luck when I found this place. Specially with the one unit called "Rosenstoeckl" which is a small house next to the main building with a double twin bed in the master bedroom,... More

Very family friendly atmosphere. Like living in a park with interesting art and sculptures. Lots of place for the kids to explore. Outstanding accommodations and tasty food made for a relaxing experience in Graz. Thank you!

Nice place to stay but highly recommend to have a car otherwise if you use public transportation it takes at least 15-20 min to climb hill. Quiet and cozy place. If you stay at Hirschenhof and don't have a car, then you will live a short adventure because you need to pass forest. In the night there is no lightning... More

This hotel was quite a surprise! First off, it is off the beaten path. Fortunately we had a G.P.S. or we would have never found it. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) but it had a small balcony next to flowing Wisteria in full bloom. The smell was WONDERFUL ! We ate dinner at the hotel in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid October. If you are driving in to Graz on the 72 you will see the big church on the hill on your left. About a mile or so after the church you will see a Billa supermarket with a parking lot on the left. Pull in there and turn around because it... More

We came to this place in the evening, introducing in the GPS an address taken from a travel guide. After a long way on a narrow road through the forest, we thought we had arrived in paradise. We were lucky to find the last four seats in an apartment in Sun's villa (Haus Sonne). The surroundings are fabulous and the... More
