Stayed in this hotel with friends for one week. The rooms are tiny, but adequate. Double beds aren't provided, a double room consists of 2 x single beds and the rooms are so small the beds are jammed together. We had a little balcony in our room, just about fit 2 people standing on it and you had to duck... More

Just returned from a week in the Micolau on a ski holiday with family and friends. The hotel is small but spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. Rooms are a bit on the small side but they were only for sleeping as we were out on the slopes all day. Stayed on half board basis and couldn't fault the... More

We (between 4-8 people) have stayed in the Micolau twice now and both times the experience has been top class. The welcome has been warm and helpful and any questions or requests we’ve had had been dealt with quickly and with a smile. The food is top class (best in Arinsal - try the fajitas and the steak) & reasonably... More

I stayed here with three friends in February for a week. The hotel is in a perfect location as its just a 2 minute walk to the gondola and right across the street from the ski hire shop, supermarket and pharmacy. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and remained so throughout our stay. As stated in many... More

Clean, newly refurbed, great rooms for two. Rooms are small, and you need to live tidily, but they are great rooms, comfortable, TV, phone, lovely bathrooms, built in wardrobes. If you can live tidily for a week, this is a great place to stay. I think they had about 12 rooms. All twins, very nice restaurant downstairs, with a small... More

Just returned from Arinsal and had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms have all been recently refurnbished with nicely finished bathrooms. Breakfast and a tasty 3 course meal in the evening provided every day added to the value for money. Hotel is 50metres from main lift to the slopes and has a great pub with many friendly locals directly... More

Arrived 27/12/09 for a week skiing with friends, Hotel Micolau is ideally located near the gondola, ski hire shop and bars and restaurants. The food was good, better than I expected for a 2 star hotel, the new years eve menu was excellent, very impressed! The rooms are small but clean and functional, the staff were excellent everything was taken... More

My husband and I have just returned from our snowboarding holiday having stayed in this hotel and we had a fantastic time. We too had read mixed reviews about the hotel so went with an open mind and weren't disappointed. Pro's 1) Great location - 2 min walk to gondala, right opposite St Moritz ski hire shop and in the... Stayed here at the start of January for my first snowboarding trip. I was a solo traveller and landed a double room, so I can't complain about the space, and the room was done to a very nice standard, and I understand they have all been recently rennovated, although there was some light work going on while I was there... My friend & I stayed at Hotel Micolau last week and what a great time we had.
