If you like staying at a nice, clean family run hotel in a friendly atmosphere than this is the place to go. We booked three double and a single room and were given 4 rooms on the second floor, 122, 123, 124 and 125 on Block C. Room 124 had a view on the local church with the sea in...

Typically Greek(?) accommodation. Clean enough but somewhat Spartan room. Hotel itself is very much a family run affair. Aircon in bedroom only and somewhat noisy. Big swimming pool. Within easy walking distance of the town centre. Big free car park at rear. Would probably look for somewhere a little more upmarket when we go back to Polis next time

Our first visit to Polis and the Mariela, we got our car hire at Paphos airport arriving then at Polis around 02.00am. Taken to our apartment on the third floor , lovely and clean with a warm greeting from the owner. We awoke to find our apartment balcony was looking straight at the next block of flats, so quite a...

We stayed here in September 2016 and had an all-in-one / studio room. When we arrived at 1 am, it took us 20 minutes to actually raise anyone to check us in despite them knowing what time we were arriving. All doors were locked and the buzzer wasn't very visible. When we got to go to bed we couldn't get...

We were met at the airport by the taxi driver arranged by the hotel and after a 50 min transfer we arrived. Pambos greeted us with a free drink and some lovely homemade cake.! The Mariela is in a...

Once again have had a fantastic relaxing holiday at the Mariela. Pambus and Eleni cannot do enough to help. The pool was lovely, the beach is only about 15 minutes walk away. There is a regular bus service but can book car if wanted. Plenty of places to eat. The accommodation is cleaned every day except a Sunday. Everybody very...

We visited Polis for the first time recently with friends who live in Cyprus - they stay with Pambos and Eleni at The Mariela every time (having tried lots of other places) and we came to understand why....their hospitality is wonderful - they make their guests feel so welcome and special and go out of their way to ensure you...

This was our first visit to Cyprus and we stayed at Marilea for 10 days. Pambos and Eleni are very welcoming and are always available. Staying at the Mariela is an experience of being welcomed into a warm family atmosphere, even the cats make you feel welcome. Rooms were cleaned daily, the pool is lovely and there always plenty of...
