Such a wonderful experience. My parents got married last week at a little church in the Troodos mountains and they booked the entire hotel out for guests. Lovely family run small hotel with excellent homestyle cooked dinners. Hotel room is in colonial tradition with wooden floors. Very peaceful and relaxing area perfect get away from the city. We spent 1 night in this lovely home, friendly host, clean room, lovely breakfast on the terrace. We had the feling with be at a friends place. PrivTe parking spaces in front of the hotel. In the village the village tavern servd some local food. We enjoyed it.

Great owners make this place- nothing is too much trouble. Arriving late j and v hungry Jack(82 year old owner) ran us unto town for dinner. rooms are a bit jaded we had a balcony but room was very small- but bathroom big breakfast good

Overall, tired & in need of serious upgrading. Our room was ok, nothing more: shabby mismatched furniture, poor lighting - only 1 (small, cheap) bedside lamp - towels clean but old. Ill-fitting room door, thin walls, & hard flooring throughout, meant it was quite noisy. Breakfast, served on the terrace, did not live up to its surroundings. No fruit or...

Stayed at the Semiramis for 4 nights. We booked two double rooms - one for us and one for our 2 children aged 9 and 6. Located in Platres which is a charming village in the Troodos mountains, Semiramis is a quaint family run hotel. We got some excellent service by Ms Alla. However what ruined the trip for us...

Spent a most enjoyable night here for our wedding anniversary and as so many have already said Jack is a wonderful host. The hotel is quirky and so very peaceful. Exceptionally clean and breakfast in the terrace was superb. Would highly recommend. W

Platres is located high in the mountains on the way to Mt Olympus and where better to stay than the Semiramis Hotel! This place is great and very good value. The hotel is in an old traditional house, which has a lot of charm and each room is very cozy and comfortable.
