Just settled into the Hotel Foroyar for night 2 of 4 and must admit it is so much better than expected. I booked a room overlooking the harbour and that is what I have. A lovely big room with all amenities. Had dinner last night in the restaurant and while a great buffet it isn't what I want from my...

Hotel Føroyar is situated in the beautiful nature above the capital Tórshavn. Sitting in the restaurant there is a beautiful scenery over the capital and the island Nólsoy. The restaurant GRAS offers very good food - both breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Foroyar with my three-generation family of 7 people and we were more than satisfied. All rooms have great views over Torshavn and the sea and are well-equipped. Breakfast is full of varieties (in fact no bacon, but a good ham omelet as well as fried eggs, and excellent smoked salmon, plus waffles and many...

The location of the Foroyar is great - above Torshavn with good views. It is a bit of a trek back up from the town if you walk but there are lots of taxis if you have no car. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with tea/coffee facilities, free reliable wifi and lashings of hot water for baths and shower. Breakfast...

Clean and nice hotel with good breakfast. 20 min walk to downtown Torshavn and a couple of nice walking routes just around the corner. The evening buffet was above our expectations. Simply excellent so plan at least to stay for dinner in the hotel for one of your nights.

A magnificent, very modern four star hotel, situated high above Torshavn with every room having a view of the harbour. The rooms are warm, quiet and comfortable. Stay here if you have a chance. My only grumble is that the path up to the hotel from the town is very long and steep. But that is not the hotel's fault....

We stayed here 6 nights as part of a weeklong landscape photography workshop in the Faroes. All the rooms face the harbor. The rooms were nicely sized, kept very clean, comfortable bedding, and incredible water flow in the shower (nice after a day of slogging outside). The daily breakfast was included in our rate was a bounty of choices including...

Very pricy, but a nice staff and a wondeful view over the city, harbour and islands. Nice room, and very clean. Not so central, if you don`t have a car there is goimg to be a lot of walking (aprrox 30 minutes to the center). The breakfast buffet is ok - but I missed jam and pickled herring. The restaurant...

After arriving in the Faroe Islands, I became quite ill and needed both a hospital visit and lots of rest. I was staying at this hotel, and can't begin to thank the staff enough for their gracious hospitality, and excellent location. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the food is beyond anything I could have hoped or expected in a...
