Excellent location, central Sliema, near to shops, bars, beaches etc. Hotel was basic but excellent value. Room was spacious, with plenty of storage. It was very clean, with clean towels and good bathroom and shower. Our room also had a large balcony. It had three single beds init and had the facility for another bed. One criticism was that there was no kettle or tea and coffee, although as I mention later, there are options available in the dining area. Tv was in room also with some Maltese channels, German and bbc world news. Internet was included but only supported one device. The hotel also has a lift. Vouchers were given at check in for log in pass codes each day. Staff good also. Hotel has meal options or you can prepare your own food. There were also vending machines for drinks and snacks. It also had a bar, although we didn’t sample it, preferring to visit the local establishments. Would definitely stay again.…
Dear Prospect, Would you trust a globe-trotter with 20+ years hospitality experience? So, please read on. This hotel, staff, and management are perhaps the worst I have ever experienced. - Arrived at 4am, after a long International flight and an Airbnb overbooking. - Requested a discount against €90 for checking in so late. Denied. - Being tired, requested to pay checking out. Denied. - Checking in took ages, with an extremely slow service and a bunch of paperwork; The receptionist did not care much about our frustration and fatigue. - Eventually, he gave us a room which was not ready, without sheets, a dirty washroom and full bins! He then said he could give us some blankets, and that I could raise a complaint, no problem. - Requested a later than 11am check out, as we arrived so late. The cleaner woke us up at 9am; Not even 11am. Paid €90 for 3 hours sleeping. - WiFi and breakfast payable. He said it was normal. In the age of now, nothing is normal of the aforementioned. - Complained with the manager via e-mail. Useless answer. - Requested an invoice via e-mail to the manager and the hotel. Ignored. All this shows how little these people understand about leadership, customer service, operations, and relationship building; These sort of businesses do not deserve to make a profit. Do a favour to yourself by supporting real professionals in the hospitality industry; If I could, I would give less than my rating; Steer clear, dreadful!…
This hotel was amazing, the room was a little bit small but modern and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. We got 4-star service for a 3-star hotel price. I can only recommend!
A very interesting experience. I would like to say that you get what you pay for but this hotel wasn’t too cheap and you get quite little. There were sheets and towels missing in the room. Luckily the staff was very helpful. Overall the room was okay (size, cleanliness etc). The breakfast on the other hand was very spartan. The hotel was very popular among young people therefore if you’re not a youthful spirit then I would look elsewhere to stay.
I have been staying at this hotel for 1 month the hotel, however newly refurbished, is deteriorating rapidly this establishment is dirty because the household is very superficial the housekeeping rooms are very fast towels and sheets of very bad qualities and soils are changed once a week is a shame !!! for 15 days the heating throughout the building is out of service and it does not worry anyone! the manager of the hotel is useless we wonder what does she do with her days? for 100 rooms 1 washing machine and no dryer !!! scandalous 1 only positive point is the location
Customer service very friendly but unfortunately there are issues that let this hotel down you don't get clean towels every day, breakfast isn't great very limited selection, couldn't use roof top pool as closed which was a shame don't know why as no notice saying what the problem was. Although hotel is situated in an ideal location , staff were very helpful though. WiFi not free as it's 15euros per person per week and isn't great signal very poor. Unfortunately we won't be going back to this hotel.
Stayed there for a week this month, DIRTY, SUPER LOUD and the staff totally ignore you! They were not even able to provide a hair dryer! Please do not bother with this place. There are better options in Sliema for a better price also.
We stayed for 1 week, the staff were always so rude. The desk staff were completely ignorant and grumpy. Room service never left clean/new towels/soap etc for us, so it was a bit annoying to always go down to ask for them. The hotel room didn't come with a hairdryer, there was 1 between the whole hotel it seems! Pool was out of service, this was the only reason we wanted to stay here in the first place. It's fine for 1 night stay, no longer! A really weird experience.
Stayed here for a week, the hotel is mostly used as student accommodation, allocated a room on the 6th floor which was reasonably quiet, room was serviced daily at various times throughout the stay, if your expecting easy chairs and a residents lounge then this isn't for you, suited me as it was just a place to sleep for the night.
I stayed at this hotel for one night with my 3 year old daughter. The hotel itself was fine the older gentlemen on reception was very helpful in assisting me with my luggage and also gave me a code for complimentary wifi in my room. The room was clean and spacious, a cracked sink and tape on the bathroom lock were the own obvious faults. There are a lot of students/ young people in the hotel sat around the reception area using free wifi I assume but this didn't really affect my stay. The roof top pool looked ok, more for young people I wasnt comfortable having my daughter up there as the tiles were cracked and sunbed were very worn out. We stayed room only which was fine as there are plenty of restaurants and fast food shops around for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would stay again one night only. As good links for valletta and airport, also good for shopping and bus/boat tour links.…
