This hotel was really good value and clean though rooms were a little tired the breakfast were fine and plentiful The staff could have been a little more cheerful but I think they were a little understaffed at times The parking was awful having to park between solid metal bollards with inches to spare and being on a one way... I was there in Feb./Mar.2014 for some weeks and will be there next year again. The hotel was full with elderly, satisfied guests. For sure lots of them will be there year by year by year. For the entrance and the lounge five stars are not enough, the pool is clear and refreshened, the garden so wonderful. Is there any... More

I have been going to Malta for 26 years, but normally the Summer. This was my first time using a "cheap" Winter break. The cost of the package (Mercury Direct) was good, so maybe I should not have expected "The World", however there were a number of features that could have been better. Firstly the food. I am not a... More

We have booked this hotel on not frequently used booking site. Therefore we have called to the hotel 2 days before our arrival to be sure that they have our (already payed) reservation. After arrival with the airport bus in Sliema we had a little difficulty to find the hotel in the narrow streets. We needed 15 minutes to find... More

Excellent location (central), comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff (although housekeeping ladies can be noisy in the corridors), good breakfast buffet (but hectic at times). Love the sitting room with fireplace. Nice garden and pool area. Free tea/coffee maker in the room. Free computer with Internet near reception for guests who came without laptop or tablet.

Peaceful and pleasant stay at the Imperial. Everyone was very nice, both guests and staff. This is an older hotel and not very big and that is its attraction. An inexpensive hotel in Malta, money well spent.

My wife and I were having a weeks visit for the wedding of friends of ours. We booked this hotel as it was close to the reception hotel in Sliema. Considering that the cost was low for half board, we were pleasantly surprised at how grand it was inside, with a nice room which was kept very clean; towels and... More

For the price we paid we could not fault this hotel. The room was adequate and clean. The breakfast had everything we needed, the staff were attentive most of the time. On our first evening we were all tired so decided to eat in the hotel and unfortunately the food was not good at all. That would be our only... More
