It is a challenge to find, but a challenge worth the result. Our navigation approached from different side of this mini village, the sign was covered by foliage. Beautiful comfortable room, immaculate, countryside, beautiful pool. Unfortunately our meal at night was woefully undercooked, I think they underestimated the numbers, but the restaurant setting on terrace is gorgeous. Staff are lovely....

Probably the best "hotel" experience we have had in France - not the biggest, not the swankiest, not the most expensive but certainly the best time overall, just wish it had been for more than 3 nights. Jorg and Natascha are the consumate hosts, nothing is too much trouble - the location is idyllic, the buildings are lovely and each...

While this chambre d'hotes is still one of our favorite places in France, it is losing its sparkle. Location is fine, and the rooms are too. Although, rooms at this price level without air conditioning on days with 37 degrees Celcius… It would be worth the investment. Furthermore, there are many details deserving attention. Small things are broken and the...

We stayed in this very beautiful location for a two night stay, with good breakfast and dinner accompagnied by a very friendly French staff. Although it is obvious, that the owners don't take pleasure in running this place. Our 2 year old son has been told off in a foreign language ( not French) for making too much noise and...

We booked La Buissonniere for the last night of our Grand Tour, when we would normally choose a 'grand hotel'. We were so glad that we did, as it was a real discovery. The whole place is beautiful, the setting, the layout, with lovely lawned gardens and pool. The rooms are spacious, with all modern facilities for what was originally...

I was going to book this hotel for two nights in June as I'd stayed there before and given it an excellent write up, which received 10 helpful votes, but their cancellation policy is shocking. I did not go ahead with my booking because of it. There are 1001 reasons why you might have to cancel a reservation but to...

A little difficult to find if your sat nav takes you to the wrong turning, but when you get there you will not be disappointed, the friendly welcome, and the rooms make it all worthwhile. Gorgeous rooms, lovely beds, with your own terrace and chairs outside your room, where you can enjoy your meals in private if you so wish,...

My husband and I arrived here in the afternoon after a flight from New York. We were tired and wanted a place to unwind, but did not find the hotels in Uzes to be what we were looking for. What a perfect spot La Buissonniere turned out to be. We had booked a duplex and when we arrived we were...

We had tried to book a hotel in Uzes but couldn't find one, so ended up booking one as near to Uzes as we could. We hit the jackpot here. It was a bit of a problem finding as we missed the small sign on the way out and had to head back towards Uzes before we found it but...
