Too many mosquitos...everywhere. Navigating through the dining area to get to our room was not convenient. Spacious room. Far from services. Helpful staff. Must book restaurant in advance, although there are good options nearby

After a long journey from the Pyrenees we were looking forward pre-dinner drinks and a relaxing meal without any more driving. Instead we were met by a receptionist struggling with a bad tempered infant who informed us that they were unable to accommodate us for dinner. In fairness she did locate a local restaurant that could accommodate us. So off...

We were nicely received by one of the owners (or relative) with good vibe and attitude. The room was very peaceful next to the gardens. Although wifi was poor in that room (which was previously mentioned and offered another room as alternative) it fulfilled our expectations. Sadly, that night the hotel restaurant (which apparently is famous according to Trip Advisor)...

Nestled in a small village in the Loire Valley, this hotel offers clean, modern accommodations of extraordinary comfort. But, it is its outstanding restaurant which makes this a total gem of an experience.

I arrived later than planned due to traffic and my own tardiness to find the reception unoccupied it closes at 8.30pm. A note was left for me and I helped myself to the key. It was Tuesday so the restaurant was closed, luckily I had snacks because in this area everything is closed after 9pm. I had the choice of...

We have stayed here many times - our last visit being in 2014. Eric and Aurelie continue to improve this place. We stayed in room 3 in the older part of the building and the new bed was very comfortable. Finally there is a new shower too and the decor has been updated. We work up to the sound of...

A warm welcome by friendly staff and a good sized comfortable room was just the start of a memorable stay. We were expecting the restaurant to be good based on others experiences but the standard of both food and presentation was excellent. The restaurant deserves a Michelin Star - probably more so than many that already enjoy that accolade.

After travelling from Paris, through Rouen, Normandy, La Rochelle, Rochefort, and then back up the Loire Valley in our fourth driving trip in France, the first thing I will tell you is that I would not drive in France (or Italy) without my Garmin with the European map card. We still had paper maps of each of the French Provincial...

This was the first hotel we stayed at on a recent trip through the Loire valley and it was great!!! Our room was in a building that was over 200 years old but it was very comfortable while still quaint and historic. The staff were all very nice and the location was good...near main roads and towns. We would very...

The staff here are amazing and could not help us enough. The restaurant made our dining experience the best we have had in France. Food very special and we could not find a fault with the service. Every dish was explained to us in English. We were very impressed
