The place has great food, great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and good at their job. I was there for a family lunch and two great weddings. Everything went perfect. I would love to go there again.

Good hotel for a short trip alone. The rooms are normal size for this kind of hotel. The breakfast was good and the late night conversations with some others guests and the owner make a friendly stay. Recomended

I was in Slovenia for a conference and stayed at Gostilna Rakar. It is well-located, within a few minutes of the main Venice-Ljubljana-Zagreb motorway and also convenient for access to either Ljubljana Airport or Zagreb Airport. The rooms are comfortable, with all required facilities and extremely good value for money. Breakfast is good quality local food with a high organic...

We were in the motorway going towards Ljubljana and we wanted to stop for the night. We stopped in a nearby village and an owner of a pub recommended this nice Hotel. It was not difficult to find it but we were lucky to find a vacancy and even parking on a Friday night as it is quite popular Hotel...

We stayed for two nights at Rakar, located on the outskirts of Trebnje. The accommodation is excellent - comfortable rooms, with shower and WC, plus a small balcony and importantly - air conditioning. The breakfast is first class, the owner is present during breakfast and is ready to organise various types of eggs along with cold meats and cheese +...

We spent one night in this hotel while traveling across Europe. It is really very nice place, room was clean, dinner was great, the service was excellent, and way below the price I expected for this quality.

Stayed there for a night due to a business trip. The room was really spacious with a comfortable bed but could be cleaner (toilet was used and not flushed). Dinner was very good and tasty. The only drawback is the location but it is a very good option if you are passing by or visiting this area of Slovenia. Overall...

Me and my friends visited the hotel in September, we were on a trip to Spain and passed by. Hotel is 50 km away from Ljublyana but it is 800m from the Highway. Location is good due to the fact that it is situated in beautiful region due to fresh and nice air. We slept very good and comfortable. Rooms...

We were on our tour to Italy and chose this hotel as it is only 800 meters from the highway which makes it an excellent point to spent your night and continue your road trip. Clean, comfortable, well-maintained rooms, excellent service and a surprisingly good restaurant. Rooms on the ground level have their own mini garden. The only drawback is...
