We stayed for one night (thanks god!) at room No. 1 and we were so disappointed. This hotel design and decoration it truly superb, you can see how every detail was well thought. The location is right near the port, with many good restaurants around. Cons? Well, Room No. 1 is right at the hotel entrance, you open the hotel...

Our favourite hotel in Iceland! So quaint and small, with a lovely bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full for a long time. Our room was very small (for the price) but the bed was very comfortable which made up for it! The little town is lovely, and we were able to explore the whole...

We took a drive out to the peninsula on the advice of a friend, after a conference at the University of Iceland. This was a wonderful place to stay. Cosy and warm and delicious breakfast. We liked our room. Terrific shower. Comfy bed. The town and the inn were definitely worth the trip even driving there in the snow.

Lovely cool and contemporary place. Great breakfast and lovely hosts. Rooms are small but perfectly formed. They do warn you of this when you book so if you want a larger space you can upgrade. Highly recommended. Five star.

Read many reviews from others and tried this for myself. I may make a trip back to Iceland with the sole intent of staying at this property. Staff was excellent . Breakfast was top shelf. Location is incredible.

We spent 2 nights in this quaint hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfasts were good, and the water pressure in the shower was great! That being said, the rooms on the third floor are cold and cramped. The sloped ceiling limits access to half of the room, and there is no where but the floor to store your suitcases!...

Everything was wonderful. The room was comfortable. Staff very friendly and breakfast was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not detect that sulfur smell when taking a hot shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with my husband in February 2017. The room was quite small but had a great power shower. The staff were excellent - very engaging and informative. Breakfast was lovely - fresh/y prepared. Even got a summer berrie smoothie - delicious.

This was the most charming little place, one of the nicest nights we spent in Iceland. It's in an old house–it's interesting to see that Iceland was so poor until very recently that this wooden house of more than one story was practically a mansion in the time it was built. There are very few in all Iceland of this...

The hotel is located on the main street near the harbor. The rooms are located on three floors-without an elevator, but the staff will carry heavy bags if necessary--if you cannot climb stair nor get the room on the ground floor--this hotel is not for you. The rooms are small but adequate. Breakfast is included-European style, nothing is warm (no...
