We stayed in a room with double beds and a private bathroom. Overall, the room was clean. There were no elevators so it was a bit of a challenge carrying our stuff up but it was doable. Lara was very friendly and always asked us if we needed anything, which was great! Breakfast in the morning is served in a...

The most one can say is that it is clean !! The rooms are old fashioned. The bathrooms are small but updated. The breakfast is not sumptuous, but alright. It meets one's basic needs. It is also in the center of "town".

This hotel is very conveniently located. My husband and I stayed here during our Ring Road trip. The staff was awesome. The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. It is close to the Aviation museum, the Christmas cottage, and downtown Akureryi. Wild rabbits can be found around the hotel too! HIghly recommend.

Stykkisholmur is a delightful place--but hotel options right in town are limited. So as with all of Iceland, visitors should judge like agains like, not using big international city 5 star standards. It's hard not to, given the high prices of Icelandic lodging and food during high season, but that, too, is "context." This is a clean, friendly, amazingly convenient...

We stayed at the Breidafjordur Hotel for one night before taking the ferry for the Westfjords. The accommodation and the breakfast are quite basic, but the staff is really friendly and can give you a lot of useful information. You also got a private bathroom which is a good point in Iceland.

The location is great and all in walking distance. Great restaurants are all around. Rooms are clean, large but curtains did not help to dimm the rooms at night. This was the first time we did use the sleeping masks. Breakfast is only ok and therefore leaves room for improvement.

We had a problem with our original accommodations, so we arrived at this hotel at the last minute. Lara was very kind and helpful, the friendliest person we met on our trip! She told us about growing up in the town and Iceland's growth as a result of tourism. The room was comfortable and clean and basic (no fridge or...

We arrived late and were welcomed with open arms. The room was large and had the most comfortable bed we slept in Iceland. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was hot and delicious. We noted that this was the most friendly hotel we stayed in on our trip. Would recommend without hesitation staying here if you are ever in Stkkisholmur.

I stayed at 8 different hotels in my route around Iceland. This one is that I absolutely most liked! Simple, but very comfortable, clean and perfectly located! Its owner is a very pleasant person. She makes you feel you are visiting a friend. As soon as I arrived, late afternoon, I was offered a delicious fresh coffe with cookies. She...

We turned up to the sister hostel only to find it was mostly closed but we were moved here. The lady was very welcoming and helpful. Room was basic but warm and excellent shower! Wifi was good. Lovely ceramics and wood carver nearby
