Staff were all really helpful and super nice. We were unlucky with the weather, but they were very informative about accommodation locally and what to expect when driving. Lovely breakfast with waffles. Nice rooms. The place has a lovely, homely vibe to it. They spoke very good English. And to top it all off, they had two great dogs.

We stayed here for one night, after the travel agency relocated us due to several issues with the reservation we had in Vik and it was the best place we stayed in Iceland. Very big room (furniture not of my like, but anyway), nice bed and bathroom. We were sure that would be the place to repeat if we were...

Warm friendly owners, who were happy to engage in conversation. We were not booked in for dinner there, however their team were able to cook up a delicious dinner at a reasonable price. The drive to the guesthouse is also beautiful. A great location to view the northern lights from due to its isolated position. The beds were extremely comfortable...

Clean, well equipped rooms with beautiful view. Friendly service. We got a nice lamb dinner though late arrival. Nearby is the fantastic Dyrhóla with a fantastic view and stoneformations. Unfortunately the puffins had already moved. Only negative was the floordrainage in shower that was blocked.

A very nice guesthouse near Vik. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. Bathroom is also big and functional, however it could use a better ventillation to remove the humidity. The common kitchen is well equipped and allows for cooking of more sophisticated dishes. Sound isolagion is average, a carpet in the main corridor would help.

Guesthouse Steig is essentially located on a farm in the small town of Vik. Very quaint and cozy, warm and friendly. The place was clean and quiet and breakfast was really nice. Can't complain and definitely recommend!

Guesthouse Steig is in a remote town approaching famous Vik. However, we found lots of friend in Steig. People cooked in shared kitchen and keep it clean as before. It's a warm guesthouse. Breakfast is delicious with crispy bread, loaf, variety of fruit and Skyr with three flavors. I like their breakfast very much!

Great puffin viewing on the cliffs outside Vik. Very good restaurants. Nice location for the guest house. Pretty farm with the typical animals and herd dogs. Rooms were standard guesthouse, clean comfortable and quiet. Dinner is served, looked like a good option but we went into town to see the puffins and ate there. Very friendly helpful innkeepers.
