The Hotel Bjork in Reykjavik is a clean comfortable hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff . The price includes a FREE breakfast buffet that includes boiled eggs , various cold cuts , several types of bread , fruit , cereal , coffee ,juice etc.. The rooms may be a bit smallish but more than adequate .We had a very...

Spent 4 nights at Hotel Bjork. Staff were friendly and helpful, location was good...slightly away from city centre but 10/15 minute walk and you're there. Breakfast was good and rooms were spacious and free Wi-Fi available. Very reasonably priced, would recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a 4 night stay here with my wife. The hotel is in a great location merely a 10 minute walk from the shops of Laugarvegur street and another 5 minutes from the old harbour where you can dine on freshly caught fish and yet it's far enough out to allow peaceful nights sleep. The staff were superb;...

When I was in the beer business it was almost always correct to follow the advice “don't go to a pub that has a shabby exterior”. I am increasingly discovering as I travel that this does not apply to hotels. I found an hotel in Beaune that was a converted industrial building that looked like the ugly sister on the...

Have to split this review in to two really, as the rooms were basic but very clean and spacious enough. The staff were a little brusque, which we thought initially must be a cultural thing, but then everyone else we met without exception was so warm and friendly. The TVs in the rooms have seen better days and although we...

Clean and basic reasonably priced rooms and helpful front desk staff. The included breakfast is more than adequate and the restaurant is a good choice for other meals as well. We had dinner there our first evening. Nothing fancy here but a very pleasant place. It's not downtown and if you don't mind walking it's not too far, but there's...

I am pretty surprised how many good reviews there are. I guess it's the fact that the reviewers have been to Iceland, which is amazing in itself! If you are looking for 1 night to sleep in the beginning or end of your ring road trip and want to save $50-$100, it's ok (although I would never stay again). If...

Hotel was really lovely. The buffet breakfast was always nice. Only thing is that its really quite a walk from city center. In winter the roads are slippery and winds are blasting. But if you go out for tours only then they pick you up at the door and shouldn't be a problem.

Stayed for one night in July, which is a peak season. It is a basic hotel. The rooms were big enough and clean. Wi-fi was free but of very poor strength. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was minimal. It is located in an office area, so was very quite at night. Staff is polite but not very friendly. Had...
