Stayed in October 2014 - Very friendly, very clean, very central. - We didn't get chance to eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening as it was very busy the night we wanted to eat [we did eat at the restaurant 'Sushi Samba' next door and had the Icelandic taster menu including puffin, whale , reindeer and foal -...

What a great location in the heart of the city. Just off the main shopping street and very near countless restaurants and the marina. This hotel has a deceptively modern interior, especially surprising when you look at its grey boxlike exterior images. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff demonstrate a friendly yet respectful attitude. The receptionists local...

The thing about this place is its simplicity. It was simple to find, check in was fast, smooth & simply took a minute, our large en suite room was warm, quiet, uncluttered & simply furnished, breakfast the following morning was outstanding, huge selection & with the best coffee, no hassle over room number or had we paid, everything was just...

We had 4 nights 5 days in Reykjavik. The hotel location is unbeatable - right smack in the city. 30 steps from the hotel entrance to the only one main shopping street. The decor of this hotel is modern contemporary. Color scheme primarily grey and black. Concrete flooring with black vinyl tiles even in the rooms. Good bathroom fixtures -...

Dont look any further. This hotel has it all. The location could not be better. Right in the heart of the city giving easy access to all the places you'd wish to visit on foot with no more than a 15 minute walk. Great breakfast, clean rooms albeit a little small, but who stays in their room all day in...

Nice staff, architecturally design at the inside, our room was quiet small but had everything we needed for a short stay. If you stay longer than a couple days, ask for a bigger room. Breakfast is unbelievable !

This hotel has a great location, right in the centre of town and just off the main shopping street and it's also only a ten minute walk to get to the historic waterfront. We had a basic room, but it was more than large enough for our three night stay - with a decent size comfy double bed and a...

This is a beautifully architecturally designed hotel in the centre of Reykjavik - literally 20 metres from the main shopping street. We stayed in a deluxe room as we had a fair bit of luggage - it was large even by European standards with a separate bathroom and bath. The room was nicely decorated in a nordic style. Amenities are...
