We loved everything about our stay at the CenterHotel Thingholt and cannot recommend it highly enough! The rooms, while small, were comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The food was great as well. A big bonus for us was the central location. Everything we needed was pretty much a short walk from...

First Impressions: As there was a problem with our originally booked hotel (CenterHotel Plaza) we were transferred to CenterHotel Thingholt...So walking through the very busy street at 3am we found our hotel.... Right on top of a night club, and the outside isn't very inviting... However, walking through the door, you are greeted with a calming, rather dark, reception with...

I would give this hotel a 5 for the location and the staff. It is a great location for restaurants and shops. The staff was also extremely helpful. A nice breakfast is included. My one issue I had was with the size of the room. I have a feeling that it was the luck of the draw and what was...

We picked this hotel for the very central location. Very close to Grayline tour office and restaurants. We stayed in a Junior Suite. I think a regular room would be a little tight if you have luggage as we did. We stayed for 1 week. The weather was rainy mostly, so the hotel spa was a great option as we...

My friend and I stayed here at the end of January for a long weekend. On arrival, we found we had been allocated a double room instead of a twin room, and when the lovely lady on reception couldn't find us a suitable twin room, the very friendly Manager came and allocated us an upgrade! We had a lovely Junior...

We were lucky. Arrived at our original hotel to find it over booked. Very glad as this place was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Buffet breakfast was brilliant. Our room was on the top floor, overlooking the harbour. Very nice design and facilities. My only slight criticism would be that the glass panelled bathroom doesn't offer much...

This hotel is fantastic - the rooms are very modern and comfy, breakfast was excellent and the staff (Ryan in particular) were so friendly and helpful. The location is great, right in town and there are lots of restaurants nearby. We hired a car during our stay and found that parking outside of the hotel (in zone 1) was quite...

Very unassuming from the outside, but really cool interior. Staff at the front desk were really pleasant and breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and it had a great waterfall shower. Has a nice lounge/bar for relaxing in the evening. We got a little hot chocolate when we arrived too which was the icing on the cake.

This is a great hotel and very centralized. We were within walking distance of loads of shops, restaurants and bars. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The restaurant is great for dinner and the breakfast is the closest to what I consider a typical breakfast than I experienced the entire week I spent in Iceland. Very pleased! The rooms...

We had a wonderful time here. Really nice people, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast. The front desk and breakfast staff are outstanding. You can easily walk to any museum, the harbor, the Harpa, or the church, so no need to take the bus unless you have limited capacity for walking. The spa is wonderful, although no one seemed to be...
