My son and I stayed here for three nights and were delighted with the location. The staff were amazing. Iceland is a very laid back place to visit and this was apparent from their helpful ease when asked a question. The breakfast was fab, and the rooms were just what was required: warm, cozy and clean. If you are only... More

Positives: Very central location Nice staff, friendly and helpful (like everyone in Iceland, they speak perfect English) Amazing chocolate flapjack at breakfast and good quality bread (plus eggs, fruit etc) Negatives: At Christmas, noisy - there's an ice rink right outside the hotel with loud music all day and well into the night The rooms vary in quality and style... We just got back from a 5 day trip to Iceland-we found the location to be excellent for walking around-very centrally located to everything. The main shopping street is located immediately across from the hotel on the other side of a central plaza which has a skating rink (rentals available) Breakfast was included and was very good. If you arrive... More

The hotel was located in the perfect location for walking and exploring downtown Reykjavik! The hotel itself has very friendly staff and a good breakfast selection. The room I stayed in was a little outdated but the sheets were clean. The shower was a little odd as it didn't have a barrier on the floor to block water from spilling... More

We were supposed to stay at CenterHotel Klöpp, but they accidentally overbooked, so we were moved to Plaza. The location is perfect - right in the middle of downtown RVK, near the tourist center, amazing shopping and restaurants, the harbor, the coastal walk and the bus station. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff was friendly... More

Weekend visit, loved the hotel, bang in the middle of town, it does everything you expect, great location, lovely staff, clean rooms, buffet breakfast to kick start your day. Brace of parents and of teenagers, perfect for all of our needs. I'd stay here again and recommend it to all of my mates. Well done.

The Center Plaza is in a great location for exploring Reykavik and is surrounded by good shops and excellent restaurants. Hotel very comfortable; heating in rooms very good, staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast in the conference rooms on ground floor very good and varied.
