So pleased we chose Hotel Frón. A great find, located right on the main shopping road and central to many shops, bars and restaurants. Very good value for money, the hotel was clean, comfortable and the continental buffet breakfast was small but adequate with all the basics on offer. A busy, small restaurant and the staff worked tirelessly keeping it...

Travelagent sandra: very nice place to stay. We had a studio appartement; with a sofa and kitchen; and a balcony overlooking mainstreet with all the shops. Very friendly reception; breakfast was fine. I would really recommand this place because of it's location.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it is right in the heart of the town centre so you have all the shops and restaurants very close by. The harbour is also a 5-10 minute walk which is great for going on whale watching tours (Elding was amazing). Rooms are basic but in our double we had a small kitchenette...

This hotel is in an excellent location right on the main street and you can walk easily to the harbour, church and other sites. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops within a minutes walk. Hint: Vegamot is a great value restaurant for Iceland we had two lovely meals here and it is only 2 minutes from the hotel. The hotel...

The hotel was more than adequate and accommodating for our group. If you are traveling as a family or couple I recommend their suites especially rm 108. Great location central to all and within walking distance of most Reykjavik attractions and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet. The entire city has a laid back European vibe but can be on the expensive...

We stayed for 3 nights and were given a one-bedroom apartment in the building behind the front street so the room was very quiet. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the sitting area was lovely to rest our feet after our busy days. The breakfast was as described and could be quite busy, I prefer a hot breakfast but...

We were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment, which was lovely. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful, all speak excellent English. Located in the middle of a main Street, close to shops, bars and restaurants, can walk to the harbour and pond from here. Only 3 star but very nice hotel and value for money. Breakfast is...

Well, the best part of this hotel was it's location. Were were there during Christmas and had the entire Christmas parades, music and shopping right at our door step on Laugavegur street. Was such a blessing! Downside of the location is that it's right in the middle of one of Reykjavik's main streets which gets closed to vehicular traffic on...

The Fron was recommended and did not disappoint. We spent 4 nights here..we had booked 2 single rooms and were given a fantastic 2 bedroom apt on top floor. It was excellent with comfortable beds, cooking facilities, which we didnt need but was handy to have, great views from a seated terrace and a large and bright lounge. The reception...
