There were three of us sharing a suite with a small kitchen and dining table plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfortable and clean a very good walk in shower and the room was beautifully warm. The breakfasts gave you a good choice and was always plentiful we also ate an evening meal there which was...

Our family had an excellent stay in the Hotel Fron for one week over Christmas 2016. Iceland is an extremely well organised country to visit due to its networking communication with all service providers. We commenced by travelling with Icelandic air, then airbus with Reykjavík excursion (which we had to transfer at the bus station onto the mini bus to...

I have given this hotel a good overall rating because the positives outweigh the negatives, but for balance I am stating both. Positives: you can get a room with several beds for the price of a normal hotel room elsewhere. The staff are helpful - one young woman in particularly went out of her way to help us sort out...

We have just returned home from our trip. We stayed at The Fron for 4 nights. The frontage and foyer are rather tired and need refurbishing. That is the only negative criticism I can make. We had a Studio apartment in the annex. While this annex is dated compared with the rest of the hotel we found it excellent. It...

Hotel Fron is in THE perfect location. It is situated on the main shopping high street and within easy distance of everything in Reykjavik. When we visited, Christmas was in full swing and the city looked so pretty. The Icelandic people are simply lovely. They are friendly, smiley and helpful plus their English is exceptional. The real downside to Iceland...

Stayed here five nights , we had the studio apartment room . Warm place . Central to everything . Hot showers comfy beds. Was a pleasant surprise we were not expecting this quality considering European accommodation can be all over the show .

Really large rooms compared to other hotels I've used in Reykjavik. Car parking round the back is a little confusing to find at first but very easy, car park is best suited to small cars and other drivers need to park considerately as it can be tight. We prebooked the parking as there is only a few spaces. Breakfast was...

Good clean rooms and excellent bar and restaurant with lovely friendly staff. Food very good and very large portions. Cauliflower soup absolutely gorgeous and all food hot and well presented. Ideal spot in the middle of the City.
