Dirty mattress in the stairwell to the room. Gross. Garbage bags in hallway across our room. Sheets were gross and bed had no support what so ever. Room was next to bathroom - avoid that if you can. Whenever someone turned on a sink in bathroom, pipes (?) made a loud noise which not only scared us every time, it...

I stayed for two nights at this Hostel. I was put in a room in a building 5 minutes away from their main location. It was horrible. The bed was tiny and very uncomfortable and the room was also very small, I felt like I was sleeping in a storage unit. The room was clean though but the shared bathroom...

Bathrooms were very unclean and flooded every time I took a shower. Bedroom was unclean as well, pretty sure the sheets had not been washed. Avoid this hostel at all costs. I'm sure there are better hostels in Reykjavik where to stay.

I can only assume that the positive reviews of this place are from people who stayed in the main building. It's a very different story where I stayed. When we arrived at reception we were told that our room was 4 mins walk down the road. This was really inconvenient after arriving from the airport with a lot of luggage,...

This was a very affordable for an accommodation in Reykjavik. It's very close the Church and restaurants and shops. The room was pretty basic and clean enough, though there was some mold around the windows. The shared bathroom is acceptable, but not great. There is a tiny kitchen and lounge. Parking is on the street.

Good location near central area, very clean and lots of free parking around. Lovely staff. They offer breakfast for extra charge in a little restaurant area however we decide to try something in town.

Much more like a hotel than a hostel as far as we could tell the standard of the room was far more pleasant than the rest of the hostels we experienced both on this trip and previous. I stayed here three separate times - 2 days, then 2 more days, and 3 days near the end of my trip. One of the people there really helped make my trip pleasurable by giving great advice and ideas and explaining everything really well, giving basically great insider tips that can only be given by someone who lives there. The...

This place is great! You can see the big famous church and walk to downtown and two pools. The room and kitchen was immaculate and the other guests very considerate. We even left a treasures Harry Potter book there and the management found it! We'll be staying again on our way back home.
