I stayed here 1 night in room 503. This is a basic hotel that is a little run down. The location of the hotel is good (close to restaurants and shopping), but it is on a busy street, so you do hear the traffic and drunk people if you have the window open. No "view" to speak of. The windows...

We booked this hotel last minute at the airport. Glad we did. It was walking distance from everything! The breakfast that was included was great. The staff was wonderful. They helped us with everything we needed. The room was tiny, but just enough for two, but it did not bother us. We are traveling and are really only using the...

My husband and I stayed here on the bookends of our trip to Iceland. On the beginning of our trip we stayed for three nights. The room was tiny. I think it may have been a closet at one time, no joke. We did have a queen size bed in this room rather than two single beds pushed together like...

Wonderful hotel. Close to the shops, sea front and most of the main attractions. Staff were really helpful. Nothing too special at breakfast but that said, it did the job well :) was clean regularly. Even in a busy spot, not too noisy at all. Tea and coffee available all day!

Good experience. Clean rooms and knowledgeable front desk team. One of the Front Desk staff, Gunnar (i hope i got his name right), was exceptional in his job and very welcoming. Never failed to greet guests. Breakfast items was okay. had everything you need to charge your day and nothing pretentious.

My mother and I stayed at the Centerhotel Klopp in April 2015, room 310. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again. The hotel is in an excellent location for shops / places to eat in Laugavegur and about a ten minute walk to Hallsgrimkirkja. Our room was very clean, comfy and quiet and breakfast had a great...

I booked last minute hotel Centre Hotel Klopp at www.1800hotels.com at a decent rate for high season (July). 1. Great location to water front activities, main city street/restaurants, all the buses/tours know Klopp. 2. Breakfast was robust. 3. Rooms are basic but comfortable. 4. Desk was friendly and helpful.

We travelled with another couple and this was our first hotel booked and then after that we were going hiking and then setting out by car. When checking in, ask about the size of the room as we ended up with a smaller room than the couple we were travelling with and were paying the same price. We just assumed...

This hotel is very conveniently located for exploring Reykjavik and beyond. It is very close to the water, the main shopping street, and many restaurants and sights. It is also about a 10 minute walk to Old Harbour and 10 minutes to the Hlemmur bus station, which makes it a great launching point for exploring beyond Reykjavik. The room itself...

Avoid this at all cost, there is nothing good to say about this hotel. Your in Iceland and you might as well camp and save you the money. Night staff hates his job. Fire alarm went because of burnt toast. The room was modern in 1981 and it's not next to a building site it's inside one. The bed is...
