Hotel is very centrally located close to restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly and willing to assist, we accidentally forgot to being an adaptor plug and asked reception on the off chance if they had a spare that we could use, luck for us they did! The rooms are clean but quite small- didn't matter to us however as...

Staff at this hotel were good and friendly. The room was basic but very clean. Great location to visit Iceland for a short break! Only suggestion would e to improve the breakfast selection (to be fair, is continental breakfast), but other than that, I would stay there again when I revisit Iceland.

I am in Iceland for a Photo Workshop and I booked my 3 day stay a while ago; at this point I wish I had booked it elsewhere ... but I will be leaving tomorrow fortunately. The hotel looked pretty good at the time I made the booking but my enthusiasm started to fade when I switched the TV on....

I went to Iceland in March '17 and had a great time. I had some misgivings, due to my age - 84 - but it was a needless fear as I had a great time. On the first day I went on the Golden Circle trip and saw Geysers, magnificent waterfalls and lava fields. It was a trip which completed...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in March 2017. The hotel is an Icelandic family business with 6 hotels on the island. Quite basic but all you need. The whole hotel was clean, well maintained (renovation work going on). Breakfast is continental with plenty of meats, cheese, bread and fruit, cereals and juices. The staff all speak...

This is a no frills hotel. The location is ideal and the best part was breakfast was included in the price. This may not seem like a big deal, but in Iceland it will save you $25 per person per day. Food in Iceland is very expensive I figured we saved $250 by having breakfast at the hotel. That will...

I stayed here with friends for a long weekend break booked through a tour company and we were really pleased by the accommodation. We had two twin rooms on the 4th floor. The rooms were fairly basic but clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The rooms had a fridge which is great for stocking up at the supermarket...

Very quaint, clean hotel. We were lucky to have room 508 which provides great water views. The hotel is perfectly situated a block from the restaurants and shopping. Also close to tourist attractions such as the church and concert hall. Enjoyed walking in this city.

Very central hotel. Room was basic but clean breakfast had a really good selection. My only draw back would be the trips you have to stand outside up to 30 mins before your trip time . This happens at all the hotels though not just this one. Staff very friendly and polite and spoke very good English. Would definitely recommend

  • Room 104. You have to keep the blinds & curtains shut as the street is directly outside the wind
