This Hotel advertise themselves as being 5 Star Luxury Hotel , not only they are not even close to 4 stars, but they don't pay commission to bookings made through travel agencies, their rates are excessively high for the quality you will receive. You will be really disappointed, BEWARE of having breakfast as they will charge you for full buffet,...

We really liked the hotel experience. Rooms are nice. There are well appointed rooms. Elegantly designed hotel. Food is nice. The best location in town. The spa in the basement is great. Negative is the service; it was surly, limited and not attentive. The staff clearly did not want to help. Even with the lacking service, it was a great...

Nice small hotel in a central location, close to most of the nice places in Reykjavik. Staff are friendly and it has a nice restaurant. Rooms are clean and quirky. It has a bath tub in the room, which is pretty cool. Overall, a very nice stay.

Totally get that Reykjavik hotels are $$$ but the room rate didn't even include breakfast, all in room amenities were charged for - like using a plug adapter (USD20!!) and no tea or coffee making facilities...again charged for downstairs. Pretty basic for $450 a night. The food in the restaurant was excellent however - langoustine soup and trout for mains...

Lovely room, capacious King-sized bed, beautiful interior, spectacular location. Not sure how I missed the warnings about the music venue, as that was brutal--and it was only Thursday, we still have the weekend to come! They "provide" headphones, which is the second annoyance: we are paying $2,000 for three nights, and EVERYTHING costs more (save for wifi and a bottle...

The 101 is definitely one of the nicest hotels in town, and has a cool vibe to it. The front desk staff isn't the most outgoing group of people in the world, but the rest of the staff was nice and the hotel itself was a good choice. The rooms are pretty funky in shape and decor- at least the...

Located on a park in the City Center. Close to Restaurants, Shopping and the Arts. Beautifully decorated modern rooms with good blackout blinds. A must in summer with 3 hours of darkness. Great beds and pillows. Clean, with twice a day housekeeping. My favorite tub ever, bar none. Helpful, professional staff.

101 was great for its location, it's in the middle of downtown. The staff was great giving us tips of where to go and what to see. Beautiful view of the Harpa from the room as well. Breakfast is extra if you want a real meal, but there is a great coffee shop around the corner for those who just...

Rooms are ok, but have several 'quirky' things because they are plainly impractible in some aspects. Location is a big plus, though it can be noisy from the street. Staff is friendly and competent. Breakfast was very plain. In summary: Hotel is ok but frankly the rooms are overprised for what you get in return.

I am writing this review from Room 217 at 4am - a room for which I have paid well over £400. For one night. More fool me. The bassline from the club next door, incessant since we arrived back in the room five hours ago, is interrupted only by the periodic yelling in the street of drunk Icelanders and engine...
