Hotel 101 is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful. We got a good rate for 3 nights. However, the rack rates seem high to me even for Iceland. I woulld give it even a higher rating if it were nto for some of the construciton noise- not the fault of the hotel.

Great location, nice staff, really good restaurants. But room 105 is just off the small lobby, and you might as well be sleeping in the bar (closes at 11:30). The people in the bar were not unusually loud, and should be having a good time. The room also has windows on the sidewalk, so the cheerful people on their way...

Dear, Clare W Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am very pleased you liked the location, our staff and restaurant. As we are indeed a hotel in the very heart of Reykjavik there can be some street noise. I would like to apologize if this affected your stay with us...

The simple doorway belies the wonder of 101. Moody, chic, bold, stylish and sumptuous the interior decor of the entrance and lounge is inviting and charming. The reception is equally so and the service friendly and so happy to oblige. Breakfast and dinner are a joy in the long elegant dining space - the black and white theme pulsing through...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at this lovely, very hip boutique hotel starting Sept. 12,2014. The staff was great with special appreciation at the front desk both daytime and night . Everyone went out of their way to be both helpful and accomodating. Our room was their smallest but no matter. The decor was sleek;the...

My grandparents were at the 101 for a philanthropy summit - a major trip after some recent health issues. I called the hotel on the morning they were arriving to see if a room could be ready by the time they arrived. Egill made sure that a room was blocked, and after hearing about this special occasion, upgraded them to...

Had an excellent stay! Location is perfect, steps from Reykjavik's night life. Room was spacious and cozy with Marvelous bathroom. Loved the floor to ceiling mirrors in the shower.. 101 Hotel iss a beautiful hotel! This was our first trip to Iceland, and it will definitely not be our last. We loved Reykjavik!
