Stayed for 4 nights, hoping to see the Aurora Borealis, that plan did not happen due to the quirks of Nature. BUT we both really enjoyed our first experience of this remarkable country, the people first and foremost, the amazing landscape the super food(expensive by uk standards) and in a wierd way the appalling weather and the ways in which...

Fosshotel Baron could definitely use an update, but that said, it is clean, quiet and well-located, plus a good value for the money. Great breakfast. Tip: if you are signed up for a bus trip, most likely others are also and the dining area is packed before the bus pick-up so plan accordingly. Staff is friendly and they let us...

Basic hotel, old but clean. Accommodating staff, nice enough to have a 4am buffet breakfast prepared for our early departure. Small elevator, wait gets quite long if you chance upon a large group checking in, lobby gets pretty much crowded too. Request for a room in the upper floor-fifth to get a nice ocean view.

Although 3 stars this Hotel provided a top five star service. The staff were so friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them, room always immaculately clean, excellent buffet breakfast we traveled to 5 countries in October and this was by far the best Hotel out of them all.

For a three star hotel this was very good. Great location, great staff who couldn't do enough for you, very good breakfast and in a country not known for being cheap very good value for money. The hotel is just set back from the shore with fantastic views of the mountains in the distance. The rooms are fairly basic but...

Had 3 nights there in April and found it to be clean, with an excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff, and close to the town and harbour, with a good choice of bars and restaurants to choose from, and only a few minutes walk along the sea front to the concert hall. In all a comfortable hotel in a great location,...

Stopped here with my wife Glenys in February 2015 on an Iceland Air trip. You get what is says on the tin, a pleasant and friendly 3 star hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, whilst the buffet breakfast had something for every taste. Its best selling point is location. Just a five minute walk from the main shopping and...
