If you enjoy wandering a new city as I do then this hotel's location is perfect. Being across the street from the tallest building in Iceland, Hallgrimskirkja Cathedral, I could confidently lose myself exploring the city. Once I felt it was time to head back to the hotel I could just look up to the skyline, see the tall cathedral...

Stayed here for a week in April and really enjoyed ourselves! People on reception are great and always willing to help you find or even book onto a tour for you which is really useful when you first arrive. Great location, just at the top of town with stunning views of the church. Breakfast relatively basic but more than adequate...

This little quiet hotel is very centrally located, right across from the Hallgrimskjirka. As the church is the tallest building in Reykjavik it is easy to navigate ones self anywhere in the city. Were dropped off and collected at the hotel for Flybussen, could not have been easier. Accommodations were very plain and utilitarian, but clean and comfortable. We were...

Hotel Leifur Eiriksson is amazing. I would 100% recommend staying here. Dropped off right outside by flybus. In the heart of the city but far enough that it's not noisy. It's right opposite the Hallgrímskirkja, the most famous landmark of Reykjavík, which you can see from anywhere, so it's always easy to find. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms...

I stayed one night at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. I chose it because it was a reasonable price, moderately-well recommended, located in the middle of everything, and the tour companies I hired for my one-day exploration both pick people up right at the hotel. I stayed in the annex, on the third floor. The room was very small. That's ok for...

Stayed here on a three night break on a package with Icelandair. Total package was very reasonable. Hotel staff very friendly & extremely helpful. Our room was in the annexe and was large, bright & very clean with a spectacular view of the Church. Slightly dated & the bathroom was small but good shower and plenty of hot water. Continental...

Arrived late at 2:00am and the one guy on duty was very helpful No lift but help with luggage if needed. Our room was small but spotless and...

Chose this hotel because of its proximity to a lot of downtown Reykjavik that we wanted to be near. Location is indeed good. Lobby area & cafe area are nice, but our room was very outdated, sparse & only marginally clean. Carpet was ratty & the room in general was dank, cramped & slightly depressing. A lot of noise from...

Great location just in front of Hallgrimskirkja. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small. Breakfast was just average, and the only hot option was "make your own" waffles. The hotel is ok for short stay. Wifi was useless. If you just need a bed and have no special requirements, then this hotels is worth your money.

Small, friendly welcoming hotel in the best location. Quiet area and so convenient for restaurants, shops and bars. Free hot drinks available all day. Very comfortable rooms despite being small, quite adequate for a short stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. No lift but offer of assistance with luggage. Friendly and helpful staff.
