My mum and I stayed here in October 2016 ( I only found the paperwork yesterday - including names - so am I just writing this review now!) We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff Faroole and Vittoria were very friendly and helpful. They helped us re-arrange a pre-booked trip and even took us out into the garden area...

good location, opposit to Hallgrimskirkja, easy to explore city center, no elevator, be careful if you have a big heavy luggage, only 1 thing i don't like in this hotel is bad smelling from toilet in the room too much sulfur in the water. breakfast is ok.

We stayed from Thursday-Monday in March 2017. The location could not be beat! We were staying on the second floor in what appeared to be a renovated room. It was plenty big (2 adults and 1 child) for what we needed, and had a tiny balcony. We travel to Europe frequently, and find this room to be comparable sized to...

Stayed here in early April 2017. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location right across from the largest church in Iceland (go to top of church for fantastic views of Reykjavik). Reception is right next to cozy bar and will keep pouring drinks all night if you want them to. Also, great free fresh-brewed coffee all day.

Fantastic location, across the street from one of Reykjavik's defining icons, the Hallgrímskirkja "cathedral". A short few-minutes walk into the heart of town with restaurants, shops, pubs, museums, etc. The accommodations are fine but beware of a few limitations. There are no elevators so you will likely need to lug your baggage up and down narrow stairways by yourself (No...

Great location, clean room, good waffles for breakfast. Only complaint for those of us not accustom to 4 hours of night would be lack of light blocking drapes. Would wake up at 4am to a brightly lit room.

Hello Stayed in Hotel Leifur Eiriksson in April 2017. Traveled on business. Here's my impression pf the property. 1/ Location: right across the square fro the magnificent Hallgrimskirkja, the location was very convenient to explore the town and right by a bus stop. 2/ We arrived late at night and all rooms with the view to Hallgrimskirkja were taken, if...

My friend and I had single rooms .The only draw back was the fact that they were on the 4 th floor and there wasn't a lift. However the receptionists were happy to take our cases up and bring them down.We weren't in the main hotel so had to cross the road for our breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the hot...

Booked this hotel through Icelandair as part of their package deal, booked the Blue Lagoon also (there are many other options to book as well). The hotel is in the middle of town so you can pop out any time and pop back in if needs must. Supermarket on doorstep open 24 hours. We stayed in the annex part at...
